I'm a 2021 highschool graduate, and I studied creative photography for four whole years. It occurred to me that the visuals in this movie seemed heavily inspired by photographer Maggie Taylor's album, Almost Alice.
I've always thought of this as one of my least favorite Tim Burton films, but there's still a lot that I love about it. Just the set design is amazing and creative.
