A parade of eastbound fast flyin trains in Northern Indiana.
Train one is an eastbound Stack Train with Norfolk Southern 6983 leading and NS 1088 trailing.
Train two is an eastbound Stack Train with Norfolk Southern 7694 leading, NS 9157 and NS 9396 both trailing.
Train three is an eastbound Intermodal Train with Norfolk Southern 7564 leading and NS 4093 trailing.
Train four is an eastbound Stack Train with Norfolk Southern 2628 leading and NS 7683 trailing.
Train five is an eastbound Stack Train with Norfolk Southern 1086 leading and NS 1142 trailing.
Train six is an eastbound Intermodal Train with Norfolk Southern 2631 leading, NS 3612 and NS 7259 both trailing.
These six trains were along the Norfolk Southern Chicago Line at Ogden Dunes in Northern Indiana on 7-27-2019.

Great high speed action! When I lived in Milwaukee I went down to the Dunes and Porter, IN to watch the nonstop parade of Conrail trains. Now I watch the NS action at Chesterton and Elkhart on the virtual sites.

Very surprised to see that on those long intermodals there is no mid train locomotive or rear "assist" locomotive? It's a wonder that the continuity of Brake Pipe air pressure isn't diminished/maintained towards the rear of those long trains? Must be hard on the compressors of the two leading loco's to keep the Brake Pipe fully charged to the prescribed operating pressure to the very end of the train. Great collection there, I enjoyed that.
