Just finished getting my hot rod converted over to a pro charger, you are going to love it!
I appreciate all the problem solving you are doing, well done my man
Cant wait to see it done!!
I had this exact setup 10 years ago had same issues with the big spacer I did what ur doing it worked fine I had a 10 rib setup all I did was sandblast the pulley ribs problem solved 28psi all day long the biggest thing is making sure the belt is lined up perfect once done never have belt issues
Thank for the info brother 28 psi is getting after it. 💪
Looking good bro!!! You need a lathe and a milling machine in there now!
Man that would be nice.
Would you like me to send you photos of the Vortech Supercharger on the 95 SEMA truck I built. Your belt setup will still slip even with the Grip tech pulley. Built a bunch in 90s, also I designed the cog pullies system. That system slipped using Kevlar belts. The belt will need a guide pully as the belt comes off of the balancer pulley.
Sure send pictures to my FB page link in description. Guide pulley will be on the auto tensioner.
They sell a balancer that has a crank trigger in it if that helps . Great videos 😎👌👍
Yeah I was going to get that but I would have still needed to shorten the spacer so I decided not to. ATI makes some great products for sure.
Great video and ty for the camera angles.Belt slip is definitely a common problem.Just curious did you change your compression.I thought you were running flat tops with 64 cc head?
Dude for dyi in your own garage, this is so impressive. Your stuff is great true fan!!
I'm trying brother just wish I had access to a lathe and mill.
They make a pulley that the charger belt an v belt are all in one should check it out looks like you have a lot of stuff going on there trying to help
I've wanted to supercharge my s10 with a light aluminum 4cyl in the back running all accessories and the supercharger it would be business in the front and party in the back even thought of adding an ac compressor on the 4 banger for refrigerant cooled intercooler and ac in the truck
Why not push your alternator pulley all the way back near the crank trigger and push the blower back, just mount the alternator high or wide, less pressure on the crank
Pins are not better thsn a 1/4" full lenght key.
Some would agree some would say no.
I'm thinking to myself why vortech? Now I see. Cheap.
They have some great products this is a old kit, but ProCharger is definitely a better system IMO.
So I decided to go turbo, but it meant reconfiguring alt as well and i found an alt bracket that bolts to the lower two bolt holes and i found a 105 amp alternator that is a smaller case. If you want more info lmk. 400 sbc 69 Chevelle, single turbo electric w/p.
I'm working on a 120 amp mini setup at the moment.
