AlhamdulillAllah Rabbul Ameen for providing me with such a sincere teacher like you. Your sincerity is evident in your teaching. Jazak Allah Khairan kaseera.
Allah is the word, which combines the definite article ال( the) and إله (god) which makes the meaning that,The god who deserves all the characteristics mentioned in the quran. In this lesson,Being Allah is possesor,ال is not removed because of defitiness of his oneness.ال in the Allah will never be removed in any case.
Aslamoaliekum... These are such beautiful lessons mashaAllah and I saw you answer every question very gently mashaAllah.... Thankyou for this.... I am also having one....in the example SON OF MUHAMMAD - it is ibnu muhammaddin but ibnu is having a nun why we didn't remove it?
The noon is removed when there is 'aani' or 'ayni' or 'oona' or 'eena' at the end. Like - Muslimaani, Muslimayni, Muslimoona, Muslimeena. Here the root word is Muslim, and aani, ayni, oona, eena are the suffix added to it. When the root word itself ends with noon, like (ibn, jinn, teen, furqan) then these words will have tanween over them, and only the tanween will be removed. Also note that, the dual form of ibn is ibnaani or ibnayni... Now in this case aani or ayni is suffix and here noon will be removed. Son of Muhammad. → ibnu Muhammadin Two sons of Muhammad → ibnaa Muhammadin (ibnaani became ibnaa)
Assalam utz... may I ask... why in the syahadah... it is Muhammadarr instead of durr like in your example... appreciate if can help me to understand better...

Asalam u alaika, dear teacher.I have a doubt in this lesson. As you said, 'Al' is not used with names, so why do we use 'Al' with the name 'Rehman' in one of the examples in this lessons. And at last thanking you for teaching Arabic through this media, it is quite helpful. Jazakallah u khairan.
Salam brother , ive got one question .. if i learn modern standard arabic grammar is it much diferent from classical quranic arabic grammar? Same or diferent structures, words, etc?Ive got intention to learn both . Ive a bit knowledge of maroccan darija and Qur'an arabic im starting deeply now..wich grammar should i pick? Quranic or MSArabic? Sorry for being a question out of the lesson. Salam
Modern standard Arabic & classical (standard)Arabic a.k.a quranic Arabic are almost the same thing, we call both of them as fusha. Some of the differences are quranic Arabic has a touch of balaghah (rhetoric@literature) , use of nun tawkid (nun for emphasis), rare exceptions in grammar(the standard rules almost 100% used, don't worry too much) and use of qiraat in it etc.
السلام عليكم Brother this is Saif, I have a doubt, as you tought us early about Iraab Here in this video you gave an example 'book of Boy' so it sould be kitaabo aulaadin cause according to iraab chart Walad turns into Aulaadu in Case 3..if not please let me clears
Wslm. Since ustad hasn't replied, I'm replying. Aulaadin means boys not boy. It is case 3 of the plural of waladun. Whereas the case 3 of waladun is waladin.
Son of Mohammad translated as 'Ibnu Muhammadin'. However, 'Ibnu' ends with noon (I.e.it is heavy ism) and as per this lecture it should be light. Please help...
If there is a noon in the root word itself, then that noon will never be removed... ibn means son. Here noon is part of the word. But if we say two sons = ibnaani Then in 'ibnaani' the 'aani' in the end of ibn is addition... Such noon will be removed to have the word light. 'ibnaani' will be just 'ibnaa' to make it light.
Assalam u walaikum sir I have a question is that... In last u wrote ' ka'abatun baitul lahi ' I am confused with this plz explain why.. because if we follow the possession rules 1. Possessed is always light. Than why possessed word end with Tanween. Like Ka'abatun baitul lahi. Jazakallahu khair
Baytullahi = Baytu Al-ilaahi Baytu = house (Case 1, Light) Al-ilaahi = the God (Case 3, with Al) Kaba'tun Baytu Al-ilaahi "Possessed + Possession" phrase is Baytullahi. You misunderstood Kab'atun as such.
Afroz Saifi No you cannot write that... Possessed word will never have Al, & Possessor will ALWAYS have Al (except in case of Names) This is how you understand that this combination of two words is Possessor-Possessed
in surah fatiha. verse 1. we have الحمد لله . all praise belongs to Allah. so this is possession correct? where الحمد is the possessed word, if so. why does it start with ال
Mole Bannana Alhamdulillahi = Al Hamdu Li Allahi This is NOT Possession. Al Hamdu → The Praise Li → For (Harf) Allahi → Case 3 (Because the word Allah follows a Harf) So, Al Hamdu Li Allahi → The Praise (is) for Allah
@@SiratAlMustaqeem السلام عليكم ورحمة Brother, This is Saif Brother i have a question As you gave an example of the Book of Boy so it should be kitaabo aulaadin cause in case 3 walad should turn into aulaadu
Never used with names of people (or angels, jinns etc)... Even though, if the name itself is Al-walid. Then the name itself contains Al, then Al will never be removed from that name. Basically, we leave the name as it is. We don't force Al in or out of the names. As for Al-Hind, Al-Iraq, Al-Makkah... Al is already almost always used with the names of arabian cities or arabised names cities and countries. Means India is the name of country, but Hind is it's arabised form. Egypt is the name of country and Misr is it's arabised name.

How would you say "the six books of the three Muslims"?
Or in general, use adjectives with the possessed and possessor?
(درسُ العربيةِ)don't you think dersu is singular and regarding english one we should make it plural but (dersu) isnt plural. please help me to understand it.
Yes, it was a mistake from my side (I am Saad ibn Sabah). It should have been Duroosu Al Arabiyyah
If it is proper noun use ( do zer= in)
But in common noun we use ( Al and Ya) right?
It's the opposite... Proper noun has Al or Ya. Common noun has "2 zeyr"

Whereas the case 3 of waladun is waladin.
Yes, she is correct. Good

ibn muhammad, why you let the "possessed" word ibn finish with N ?
ibn itself is a word for son, its not the plural or dual form
just like الذین (read as al lazeena) is a word itself not a definite form of a word.
I think I was very tired that moment I ask the question, now I read and it's very silly question 😂 thank you sir Lucky
thank you Lucky Sir 😁👍

what if we add duality and adjective to this? eg: two beautiful book of the boy? translate and explain please
That is in the next lesson
I am not sure but I think the translation is" bayta jamila alwaladi" .this may be wrong. Please check and tell me the right answer. I am new hear.

"Possessed + Possession" phrase is Baytullahi.

can we write كتابُ ولرٍ because in that sentence boy is not specified .... no need to put ال hare...in my opinion..
Afroz Saifi
No you cannot write that...
Possessed word will never have Al, &
Possessor will ALWAYS have Al (except in case of Names)
This is how you understand that this combination of two words is Possessor-Possessed
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّه
حمد is praise(pocessed)
Allah is poccessor
But we see here praise starts with AL pls help
Al Hamdu = The Praise
Li = for (preposition /Harf)
Allahi = (in case 3 because of Li)
Al Hamdu Li Allahi
= The praise is for Allah
in surah fatiha. verse 1. we have الحمد لله . all praise belongs to Allah. so this is possession correct? where الحمد is the possessed word, if so. why does it start with ال
Mole Bannana
Alhamdulillahi = Al Hamdu Li Allahi
This is NOT Possession.
Al Hamdu → The Praise
Li → For (Harf)
Allahi → Case 3 (Because the word Allah follows a Harf)
So,
Al Hamdu Li Allahi
→ The Praise (is) for Allah
