It's a bit heavy but it's a headlamp jewel and having mass dissipates heat if you're on high power.
If someone likes high lumens this is the right product.
    Thanks for the great video.

@@L5-SAR Sooner or later I will have to buy this headlamp, I always look for an excuse not to buy it but sooner or later I will.
Its light beam is gorgeous even at low power.
If you look at the Lumeniac reviews here on UA-cam you will find the graphs, this Acebeam can maintain high power for a long time, he claims that it is the only Headlamp that can do it and he is right.
It is bigger and heavier than others but thanks to this it can dissipate heat and keep the power high for longer than competitors.

Another great night light head lamp review. And I don’t think I’ve been to this park in Plano. I gotta go back.

Thanks. I really like Arbor Hills. Oak Point on the other side of Plano is good as well.

In the future when you show light modes, walk the same stretch of path so we can see the difference.

Great review although maybe you should have tested turbo max earlier in the video to see a difference because once the headlamp is hot there is an automatic step down that is electronically controlled so that might explain why you didn’t see a notable difference between the turbo and turbo max settings.
Also which headlamp do you think is better between this H30 and the Fenix HP30 V2 you reviewed a while back? It is hard to decide just based on videos but since you have tested these with your own eyes I’d be really interested to know your take on this.
Thank you for your videos, you’re doing a great work:)

There is no comparison with the HP30R V2. It is by far a better headlamp for wilderness Search and Rescue, and I can charge devices from it. The headlamp never got hot as I had it in Medium or Low in between segments and paused a couple minutes between those two specific segments. The reason there did not appear to be a lot of difference between Turbo and Turbo MAX in that very wide open area is due to the fact that the display is very floody and it lights up a wider area on Turbo MAX as opposed to a much greater distance. So, it's harder to notice the difference between the two in a wide-open area, which is what I was trying to show. Thank you.

Pardon me for I’m not a native English speaker. I understood that the Fenix HP30 V2 is the better one correct? And thank you for correcting me on the present review:)

@@LETSROCKTA You do quite well for English as a second language - better than me :) In terms of 'better' headlamp, my personal use case is wilderness Search and Rescue. Suffice to say that the HP30R V2 is still my #1 headlamp and no other I have tested since late Dec. 2021 comes close. But, that's an unusual use case and the HP30R V2 is probably better for similar use cases where someone does not mind the extra weight and bulk. For a lighter headlamp, I still prefer the Fenix HM65R-T. It's very light and has great runtime in the mixed 400 LM flood/400 LM spot. It gives me acceptable downrange illumination in that mode. It's all about use cases. In SAR, I'm much more concerned about downrange illumination and am willing to give up some peripheral. For other use cases, the HP30R V2 might not be the best fit. Sorry for the longwinded answer - hope that helps!
