😱 What happens if a FEMALE character breaks into the Temple of Dibella in Skyrim?

- Have you ever wondered what would happen if you broke into the Temple of Dibella as a female character in Skyrim? While exploring the map, you might come across the Temple of Dibella in Markarth, where an important ceremony is underway, and the presence of men is strictly forbidden.To test the priestesses' reaction to a female character, I started a new game, selected the appropriate gender, escaped from Helgen, and went straight to the Temple of Dibella in Markarth. Once there, I picked the lock and entered the temple, initiating a conversation with the priestesses. Here's what one of them said to me.
"Usually a quick death"
*My character wearing deadric armor*
"...what?"
*my character whit crusader armor and the crusader 2 handed sword*
Comon go head it's not a murder if you attack me first
When someone threatens me with a quick death in Skyrim, I expect them to pull from their boots the smallest dagger in the world and immediately try to eviscerate me with it, despite me wearing plate thicker than their blade is long.
I am usually not disappointed.
(Cue combat music.)
*The Priestess in robes pulls out an iron dagger and runs over to the dragonborn.*
Priestess: "You should have never come here."
*Dragonborn pulls out his daedric greatsword and decapitates the priestess. Then the slaughtering of the temple of Dibella ensues.*
*Markarth guard enters the scene.*
Markarth Guard: "You have commited crimes against Skyrim and her people. What say in your defense?"
*Dragonborn proceeds to kill the guard and murder the rest of city's inhabitants as they turn violent.*
(Combat music ends.)
*Scene ends with the Dragonborn stealing all the cheese wheels in the city.*

It's been a while, but as a girl gamer I remember the priestess still being angry at a female avatar being around and threatened. Granted it was during the Sam Guevene quest.

There is a quest where you steal a dibella statue and you have to break in
@@Americathelandofthefree2.0 Yea but there are more statues all over the game, so u don't have to break in, im not sure but i believe if i remember correctly the one in Riften was usable.
Also the quest in the tavern in Whiterun sends you to Markath and leads to a quest where you were drunk and trashed the temple do they tell you to tidy the place up a bit or something. And i think it's a quest chain that eventually allows you closer to the statue without being attacked instantly.
If im wrong please somebody correct me

i have, you can go pretty much anywhere unnoticed using invisibility and the shrouded boots
I have too. But the person I stole the statue for was later at the cannibal feast, where I decided to slaughter the lot of them, so now I've a quest item in my inventory, weighing me down, without any means of getting rid of it.
Or do you reckon I can put it back in the temple?
Stealth was an option?
@@metallkopf988IIRC, quest items carry no weight. It shows they weigh something, but they don't have weight if my sources are correct.
@@l0rd0ct0d0rkthey usually do that, but only as long as the quest is active, in OP's case, of can't get rid of it as it is a quest item, but the quest cannot be completed. So it gained it's weight property but didn't lose it's quest tag.
Death penalty vs servitude for the same crime. What a picture of the justice system.
Technically, two different crimes. Men aren't allowed in for religious reasons, so if a man broke in, it would be actively disrespecting the religion. If a woman breaks in, it's seen as just a curious wonderer being too curious. Even though it seems like the same crime, it just isn't. It's kinda like if a man broke into a woman's bathroom Vs. if a woman broke into a woman's bathroom.
The same crime by two different capabilities. What could a woman do to the other women if she forced herself? Nothing beyond non-consentual activity, which is bad but nowhere near as damaging or evil as a man's capacity for non-consentual impregnation.
Men and women are different. Men's baseline strength is higher than women due to physical differences, and are capable of doing far more damage. Meanwhile women are far more likely to damage reputations, lie to get ahead, etc. You don't tread a saw and hammer the same despite then both being tools, so it's logical you legally treat men and women differently despite both being human.

My character, covered in other people’s blood and on the run from the markarth guards because I didn’t realize I was *supposed* to get arrested during that one forsworn quest and instead of going quietly I killed like ten guards directly after killing all the Silverbloods: “Don’t fucking test me, you do not wanna know about the day I’ve just had”

I remember that the original version of the game had none of the temple NPCs marked as essential. I took the statue with pure stealth and didn't see an issue until I got the DLCs.

It's really funny because with the The Ancient Profession mod, you have to go there to get a letter of approval for your license. So the temple door is open and you walk in, and they treat you the same way. However when you say "I need a letter", they're suddenly like "Oh, okay, you need to do this and this..."

I broke in as a woman. She did tell me I wasn’t meant to be there but nothing was done about it, I wasn’t kicked out or anything. Just stole all their stuff and left

Cant remeber if ive done this quest but my response would likely be "look I got a list of people, animals, and various animate objects I plan to kill today. Keep talking and Im adding dibella to it."

Fun fact! This quest is more advantageous to female characters, since the damage buff is against the opposite sex and most npcs are flagged as male, very similarly to black widow in fallout
The priestesses are less hostile really the only thing that happens if you break into the temple of Dibella
Because of the buff given at the end of the quest, I've never actually done the quest as a male character since the ratio of what the game tags as female is vastly different than what anybody'd think

Huh, didn't know what to expect there so I sneaked through the entire part, around the center part of the room. Lucky I was precatious.
There was no need to start a new game, you could have used one of these two codes, showracemenu, sexchange, and started the quest again.

You could have just taken your regular male character to the Ragged Flagon in Riften and have Galathil the flesh sculptor change your gender and appearance for 1,000 gold.

I never noticed they said something different to male characters always played as a girl so always got the same dialog
I actually never entered as a male character since my longest played character is female
