This looks awesome. I have seen a lot of designs and this draws me into it a whole lot more than everything else I've seen. My machines are just exposed out in the open while I figure out what I want to build. I'm new to the game also so figuring out all the symmetry and asymmetry of the machines and advancing the efficiency. Feel like starting over before I unlock tiers 7,8, and 9.
your builds always inspire - great video as always and your process isnt too far removed from my own in terms of laying out ideas and playing as if on a canvas - great job!
@12:15 @SkullyNYC Have you seen the train track method for getting nearly any curve profile? Pillars will snap to the underside of rail sections. Foundations will snap to pillars. Just have to fidget with the spacing for perfect corner alignment. @20:20 - Use the ficsit 1/2 foundations as they are easy to tell front to back. Then just change the material to concrete. Tip I learned from Fluxo.
The concept of a screw factory is flawed from the start, it takes a lot more effort to transport them from there to where you need them, than to just have some steel beams delivered to where you actually need them and make them there
