- Welcome to my review of the Second Mighty Morphin Helmet to be released in Hasbro's Power Rangers Lightning Collection! This time we have the MMPR Red Helmet of Jason and Rocky, I guess. In the review we take a look how it compares to the Bandai release in the Legacy Line.

The Hasbro one looks more accurate but the Bandai fits better, imo. Have and love both. Really want a Hasbro MMPR Green Ranger. Hopefully that happens.

Can't wait till mine comes in. I wish they would either break away from MMPR for the next few releases, or just do all the MMPR ones so that we have a full team.

The Hasbro looks better in my opinion
The sculpt for the Hasbro one looks way more accurate than the Legacy. Hopefully we can get other rangers as well. For the price, Hasbro really did a great job.
I'll say that Hasbro helmet looks better
Mainly because of the glossy finish, if you ask me. The sculpted details both look reasonably accurate to me.

I got mine for 59.99 at gamestops deal of the day I absolutely love it as a display piece!
I'm glad I didn't want to spend over $100 for the Legacy one when it was available. I'm getting the Hasbro one.

How much??? I saw it for around $80 the other day. But a while ago I bought the white ranger helmet from a gamestop for only $50
It looks a lot better than the Bandai helmet out of the box. The magnets are terrible though. They're very weak, same as the ones on the White Ranger and Darth Vader helmets. I much prefer the real clasps on Bandai as they're more accurate and more secure.
That LC helmet looks clean. I may wait it out for another helmet to be released.
Even though I used to watch Power Rangers as a kid, i might use the Red Ranger helmet and then add stickers to it and then drive in my car in the future. It reminds me of a racer's helmet! Is the Bandai version look big and Hasbro look small?
I am waiting on that Black Ranger helm!

Do they fit the same? Of is the legacy bigger? I have the lightning white ranger and barely fits..
Just got this as a surprise from my wife, and it’s missing the stand!
Do either of those helmets have padding inside ?
I also don't like the fact that the visor tint is also see through but it's very nice especially for display ❤⚡

Mines on its way! Happy you did this video edit: the legacy helmet sucks compared to the new lightning one. Way too big and matte finish which is weird. But that’s just me
I definitely agree. I HAVE to buy this one now. I got Austin St.John to sign my Legacy helmet but this'll be better for cosplay. I was worried it was just going to be a glossy version of the same helmet.

I like the small one it's more affordable Miley Cyrus it's good music but when I cause plan I got to have some hard rock. You need to have the power ranger music playing in the backdrop or add it in later when you're doing cosplay. If you're just doing a review that's nice too.

The white thing is supposed to be there there's different versions of it. There's so many birds until that lightning one it's ridiculous. But I like to mix it up so when a cosplay nobody knows the difference all they think of is old there's the red ranger. Because I don't care I got the coat remember the series where they wore the coats that was awesome and he was sword and I need the helmet I got some red gloves but not the power into one but they don't care about the costume but I still need the helmet that would complete the whole thing I don't care if it's the new helmet from the new movie just some sort of helmet that will fit in it. And something I kind of poor. Something I can afford. Not exactly four but I'm not exactly. But I'm not exactly rich.

Can people see your face through the visor?
I imagine so, when the light hits it right. I could see through both visors when the lightning was just right in my house. Its not like they are see-through though.
DosmRider Lol. True. I made it seem like the visor was clear. 😂 I just wanted it to be darker, so you can’t see through it at all, Kinda like limo tint on a car window. Maybe I can tint the visor. Lol

I just picked up my Lightning Collection Helmet today! It's my very first helmet too so I am stoked! My biggest gripe is the size adjuster in the helmet and IDK if you can take that off

I want the hasbro helmet, and a triceratops helmet...
I got mine today, and the first thing I noticed was the teeth on the Hasbro one is a very cartoonish type of color. The legacy one has a much better paint color for the teeth. That’s my only complaint though, not a big one really but still.
To tiny for my big head. Pass🤷🏻♂️
Just a heads up, the silver paint on the teeth peels off ridiculously easily!

The lighting collection is more for cosplay
Why sculpt the clip thingies whatever are called if they are not usable? Yes I know in some scenes they had them, but they’re not supposed to be there “lorewise”
The costume helmets ALWAYS had them. And on at least one occasion, when one of the rangers took the helmet off, they undid the clips on-screen. It wasn't until years later that they started making the helmets without clips and "lore wise" didn't have them at all.
OtakuUnitedStudio no, they didn’t had the clips always. If I remember correctly, they had them for the “long distance” scenes, and had another helmets for close up scenes.
Obviously in the american footage in wich they removed the helmets, they used the clip ones for easy removal I guess.
OtakuUnitedStudio I remember the clips always being there. I think the episode you’re thinking of is when they reveal Tommy to be the white ranger. When he took the helmet off he clearly undid the clips on screen, then lifted the helmet over his head. That’s one time that really stands out to me when you saw the clips on screen.

mr dosmryder all of the power rangers zords had to be destroyed by the Armada and especially what ever was left of the thunder zords of mighty morphin power rangers and there is A mistake on power rangers super ninja steel dimension in danger power rangers episode un less the white falcon zord of mighty morphin power rangers was unground during the Amanda invasion of the earth there is no way for the falcon zord of mighty morphin power rangers to return and obviously the season one mighty morphin power rangers zords and the dino thunder zords had to be rebuilt from the beginning to be on the power rangers beast morpher dino rangers and beast morpher team up according to the rangers wiki the destroyed thunder megazord was rebuilt in till the dino zords but that shouldn't even be possible and also un less the power rangers clash of the red rangers the movie and power rangers megaforce and power rangers super megaforce happen in A alternate universe from the main deminsion the ninja steel power rangers should be well aware of the rpm power rangers two flaws with power rangers super ninja steel dimension in danger power rangers episode and that explain the flaws of power rangers beast morpher dino rangers and beast morpher team up

Just wear a full head cap to hold everything together inside the helmet, for example: beard/ hair/ chin... That's what I do cuz I also have a beard lol and it helps me look more streamline inside the helmet haha
