Love this music. I grew up in the 60s and 70s. For me, it was the best of times, but I had no loved ones fighting overseas. My respect to those that served and their loved ones. My prayers for those that did not return.
I grew up in the 60s and married with children in the 70 s my first husband ( high school sweetheart) spent 3 tours in Viet Nam.. he’s a long time dead now ..these songs bring back all sorts of memories!
Thank you brother didn't go but trained ready to go in the Army two years before war ended. This was all Vietnam combat and non combat soldiers music it keep us going. What a time to be young and alive.
@lindlehodges I served At the VA at the vet centers with these honorable brave men heard their stories , and cried with them, helped work through The tangled web of that Agency to get them and what ever their families Needed . We served down town , so we could bring in our homeless , vets struggling with PTSD We would walk the streets looking for them . Leaving flyers and notes behind us , I served with a tunnel Rat in those days He was our light in the darkness . I will never forget those Men who served so honorable And scraficed so much for our country No thanks needed .Take care I know your grief And heart ❤️ ache I'm 72 now thoes years were bitter sweet and a Beloved time to have work and serve with these men God Bless them and their families who served along side them ✝️🇺🇸💐.
@@ritaschultz6859 I want to thank you for looking out for the veterans of the Viet Nam war.i had several members of my family in that war.I wanted to go but by the time I came of age it had been over 2 years.I served in the navy.I just wished we had more caring people like your self to watch over them. Thank you again for what you do.
@lindlehodges & you as well in loving memory ❤️ for all who served and gave their talents and gifts To one another, whom they served with . They accepted us as part of their extended family . We would do community projects with them , had sport's team, and competed in the community . We had a Big glass locked display case where the guys would bring in their medals of honor , and their war Memorabilia , on lone to us , we proudly displayed for them , we put a card And their names ranks , and a note of bravery as to the conflict , the weapons They took from the enemy . We also had a Vietnam vet come in from the employment office That helped them find work and college grants so they could pursue their dreams . I ❤️ thoes guys and their families , and respected what they did what they were called apond to do .take care, my friend✝️ 🇺🇸🌹
