It’s so obvious that the only reason Payton was on the show because she wanted to be on TV and be well-known. If she actually wanted to be valued on a team, she would have just sticked with the senior company

What’s wrong with that? There’s nothing wrong with wanting to take an opportunity like that, especially when you plan to be a professional dancer in the long run. You can’t fault her for that.

sometimes all give the moms the benefit of the doubt because somethings Melissa did need to get called for like when she said 1 thing to Jill about liking a duet and another to Abby out about not being to happy about the duet and it may look like picking on but there was no way, she had to get called out for that one but this time wasn't her fault

See, it was never Melissa’s fault if Abby included favouritism in her teaching ‘tactics’. Like in this episode, Leslie attacks Melissa as if Melissa said that Mackenzie was better than Payton. But. It. Was. Abby.

They accepted that, the reason they were upset was because her kids get praised all the time and there are some dancers on that team that never received enough time or never gotten much encouragement from their teacher

it’s not Melissa’s fault tho. what do the moms want from Melissa? to tell her kids to mess up so their other girls can take the spotlight? How talented Kenzie and Maddie are has nothing to do with the other moms or even Melissa. It’s Maddie and Kenzie that want to dance, that want solos, that want privates.

Love all the girls, but it's not the Maddie & McKenzie show all the time. How do you all think the other dancers feel when Maddie is always getting special recognition and training? Maybe if Abby spent more time with the other girls, then there would be less animosity.
You have to pay for "special training" which is how you get "special recognition" the other dancers moms could have paid for more training instead of hating Melissa for trying to get her kids ahead. And also Maddie and Mackenzie are not supposed to dim their light so others can shine
@@noneofyours16 Abby never had the time for the other girls. She always left Ginna to teach them. Or she is on her phone while the others are practicing, emptying out her purse looking for earring, or her make up isn't right! See the picture I'm painting?
I it's every mother's wish for their child to shine. But when you're surrounded by other mother's and their children especially if you're friends with them,wouldn't you want them to be seen as well? Honestly, I think that Melissa should of spoken to Abby about the favoritism and special treatment towards Maddie. She's a wonderful dancer yes indeed, but there were other mothers and kids that had brilliant dancers. The show isn't called "Dance mom" or "Dance Maddie."
@@noneofyours16 And all of that is fine, well, and good but the problem is that Melissa is a typical stage mom (in this case dance mom) who ultimately only cares about herself. She doesn't even work. At least all the other moms have jobs to pay for their girls' training. Melissa had to have an affair and marry her boss just to pay for her girls' lessons.

I think what Leslie meant was that Payton finally had a chance to shine and did well but Abby just said that Kenzie looked better. Imagine being the leader and having special parts in group dances and then your dance teacher says that you didn’t stand out and other girl did like come on now it’s really unfair to Payton. For me Payton was the only one who stood out.

This may be an unpopular opinion but Mackenzie was a very overrated dancer. If it wasn’t for Maddie, she would have never been on the show and would probably never even dance. It’s the same with Paige and Brooke. Paige and Mackenzie were both lucky that they’re older sisters were talented dancers and paved the way for them
They would still dance even if they weren’t on the show because kelly has known Abby for a long time so she put her kids in dance and Maddie and Mackenzie’s dad went to college with Abby so when Maddie started dancing, Mackenzie started dancing as well
yvella but when Mackenzie was on the show she was dancing already and she didn’t really have an option
Daler Pawi I never said she didn’t have an option to dance on the team, I mean that without Maddie, Mackenzie would have never secured a spot on the team
With Brooke and Paige, though, Paige was actually the one on the team. Brooke was dancing with the seniors, but just like with Mackenzie and Melissa, Kelly wanted Brooke on the show as well, so Brooke went down to the juniors.
TBH when Asia came on the show it was shown how Mackenzie wasn't really that versatile at the time. Think about it: most of her dances were acro with some cutesy costume and theme

Everyone are attacking Melissa, saying that she have some kind of secret meetings with Abby, when the truth is her doughter give all her heart to dancing, she even was afraid to go ice skating just becouse she was afraid she will get injured and won’t be able to dance, while all other kids weren’t afraid.
