To be fair you can never 100% know what the driver assigned to an order that's waiting at McDonald's are doing, they could be waiting at another pickup on the same platform and not want to cancel that order. With Just Eat it's unlikely as they have 5-10 minutes baked in pretty much at McDonald's. All it takes is to have one incompetent member of staff. Yesterday I had a double pickup and dropoff order on JE. The 1st one was ready on arrival the 2nd took 40+ minutes. I waited 5-10 minutes before I delivered the 1st customers food and returned to 2nd pickup. I half expect my account to be flagged for waiting time payments even though I was paid £0.
My take on cold McDonald's food is that they should have a proper hot hold area for bagged orders.

I've picked up there 1000s of times
And had bad deliveries from there through dodgy drivers to the point I go and pick my own up

I don't know why McDonald's arn't using dark kitchens. I've waited over an hour for my food (as a customer not a driver) so I just don't bother anymore.
