I LOVE your filming set up lately. You’re showcasing your items beautifully. Those are pretty. I like wide base but there’s a sweet spot depending upon need. I like a 3-4 inch wide base. If I plan to carry a lot, a wider base will suit. When I carry a lot, it’s usually for a short time then I plop the bag down and enjoy the wide opening to see everything easier. Yes buying on sale is great. Nowadays I try to always buy on sale instead of full retail.

I also love TJ maxx❤ both colors look identical to me especially since its different leathers. I have the dome in chestnut and would definitely pick up any other color. That bag is so smooth😁😊

The domed satchel looks just a tad bit lighter in color. Very nice. I’m only 4’10” in height and find that so many of the D&B bags are just too large in size for me to the point that they are overwhelming. I would love a satchel that was a bit scaled down in size. I own several small Lexington’s. Love them 😊

I agree the base on some bags are too wide, for me, 5" is the limit, 4" or smaller is best. I like the way you accessorize the bag bag with the black puff. Both colors, elephant/taupe look similar, both are nice. I also have the same PN pouch/wristlet, different pattern, I purchased at Marshalls, the corner opening is great for easy access. Your shopping philosophy is the same as mine 😉
Can you return the ebay bag? Idk I love they elephant bag and I also found one on ebay and it should arrive Tuesday. I have the Lizard wallet you have and I think that would go nice with the elephant bag. I guess bottom line you have to be happy with the bag... :)
