If any of the Septics had pulled that canyon jump, they'd have scored 95+ and walked away with it. How the hell did TVS score more than Brendog by pulling the same trick on every jump without any full-on gnar? Don't get why the judges seem to discount riders that aren't American or Canadian? Presume Brendog didn't take his second run as it just wasn't worth the risk for so little reward? Wouldn't blame him if he turned down the invite next year, literally 90% of comments on every platform says he was robbed.......
You guys have brought smiles to my face so many times in the last week, that was an epic adventure! Bren's run was the most in the spirit of rampage IMO. No idea what was going on with the scoring yesterday, both Bren and Bienve should have been podium, Also did anyone notice how no one really mentioned Bren or repeated any of his run later in the program, something fishy going on.
Apparently repeating a flip done 10 years ago is a bigger deal than a 60ft suicide canyon gap with a lillypad run in. The judges must have a line on the heady crack. This is why Darkfest and the 9'S are better events.
Hey Ben, just want to say I really appreciate your channel and the video content you make. I also want to say that the people that you hang with are way cool. I'm presently watching the vlog the three of you made at on the drive to and from rampage you guys called it drive time. The three of you need to get together and create your own channel call it whatever you want but bring your wit, your humor, your sarcasm and all the fun cuz it was a great time watching those. The three of you get along great and I would like to see the three of you do something cuz I would definitely sign up for that. Keep up the good work

Winner should have been 7th and Bren or the Spanish guy for the win. Rampage should be about risk taking and pushing the envelope.. not foam pit ariels. Completely lost its way.
I wish brendog sat out the first run instead of the second, I think the result would have been different, his first run was early in the competition, so the judges gave themselves some breathing space. Everything about his run was a win, originality, balls and by far the best lines, the run in to that canyon gap was insane!

NO his tricks were not very diverse, YES his line was one for legends. BUT if he went closer to last rather than 4th to start i believe he would have been scored higher. they always give room in the beginning for the finalists to sneak in a banger... 3 EVERYBODY LIVED. It could have been a chopper ride.
If the judges rewarded the biggest risk takers rather than overall 'style' it would encourage more risk taking and more people would get hurt over the years. I think that logic is a factor in the organizers/judges minds because they don't want to be accused of encouraging a fatal incident. Brendan's run captured the public imagination so it was a great success regardless.
