Has it really been five plus years? I feel old.
It's pretty rare for a parody to become more popular than the original, and now that the fanbase has finally moved past petty idiocy and squabbles and flame wars, looking back, it's pretty monumental, considering all the further parodies, art, hell, I've seen parodies of parodies at this point, it's nuts. And honestly, now that I don't have to be embarrassed over liking this game or its fan content anymore, I feel like I appreciate stuff like this even more.
