And all of his upside, he is a first round talent, and I think he should be flying up people's draft boards, for all the reasons in this video!

Really hoping the Bengals grab him at 31. Might very well be the best player available that late in the 1st anyway.

The Bengals are intending to use him as a Cornerback, which he can also play. Bates/Bell will still be our starting Safeties in 2022.

The fact he’s so versatile gives me hope even if we have 2 good safeties in bates and bell, he will still be used a lot

Bengals took 2 safteties in draft.Bates and Bell are both free agents after 2022 season.Neither of them will be back.

Ossai is about to be a problem for offensive lines. Hendrickson, Hubbard, Ossai, Sample, Kareem, Reader, Hill, Shelvin, Wilson, Pratt, ADG, 8 solid db’s as well

Yo him and cam Taylor Britt will play so well together my goodness. Both those guys cover so well and are very aggressive and not afraid to make huge tackles. Not to mention how good our defensive line is going to be with reader, Henderson, Joseph ossai, bj Hill. Bengals fans we are blessed

been waiting to see a video like this on yt. Nobody seems to acknowledge the fact that daxton hill is the best over the top safety in the draft. No disrespect to hamilton but he cannot play coverage over the top, his get off speed is way to slow; hes should be played in the box. Hill can hang with any player on the field over the top, and he is solid in run defense too. Shit the guy could play slot cb if he wanted. Really phenomenal prospect one of my favorites in the draft
i couldn't agree more!! the outlook on hamilton has changed a lot since the last snap of the season. And it allows us to reflect and see that you have a guy who is much smaller, but plays just as aggressively, and is much faster.
I hope whatever team picks him up uses him to his potential, because he still has an incredibly high ceiling!

Dax is a true Swiss Army knife in the secondary.
The Bengals did a great job scouting this man and besides playing corner he might be a replacement for Bates. I would hate to see the Bengals lose Bates and Bell just like I hated seeing CJ leave for the Jets but the Bengals will soon have to resign Joe Burrow and Higgins.

Those blitzes look interesting. He gets through so quickly there is no chance even to look, let alone to find anyone open. I can see that proving useful from time to time, both directly as a weapon and as a decoy. .
i completely agree! these slot corner/safety players can be SO versatile. they can look horrible with a bad coach, but look like the teams best player with a creative DC!
Well now he's a Bengal and I love his athleticism and versatility. Going into the draft I really wanted them to take a CB in Rd 1, any chance he could step into a role playing on the outside from what you've seen?
He can play any db role
Hilton can play out there too, Taylor Britt is a great pick as well, Bengals have plenty of depth and options to dominate the league next year

I did notice that all the film you had were games that Michigan won. I would be interested to see the game film on him during the Michigan State game and the Georgia game. I can name two plays he got burned by Sparty. One was Jalen Naylor.
I do like his versatility in the defensive backfield. He has super athleticism. He reminds me of a more talented and refined version of jabrill peppers, minus peppers return skills.
Reminds me of a waayy more athletic mike Hilton. Love the pick for Bengals.

he would be a steal if you got him anywhere outside the first round. He's my 2nd graded safety in the whole draft! first round talent for sure!
Michigan guy and big fan of Hill but he went about where he should have. He is average in coverage and that's going to be a bigger liability in The NFL than it was in his - if we're being honest - two real years of CFB. His youth and athleticism I why he remained a 1st round pick.
He's a super-athlete that likes contact. Really good player, great pick at 31. I just don't know about "steal of the draft"...and I'm biased in his favor.

@@jayr399 wrong, if anything he'd be more of a Bell replacement but we probably run the most 3 safety sets in the league, plus he can play anywhere in the secondary so don't be surprised to see him lined up at CB on some plays. He's in that same mold of Budda Baker/Tyrann Mathieu type that is positonless and extremely versatile.
