I am from Anguilla and went to school in SKB between 1975-78. I remember the band. I think the trumpeter was the bother of the trumpeters in GIs brass at the time.

True. One of the trumpeters was Nigel "Numpy" Hicks-Williams, brother to Wingrove and Kenrick Hicks-Williams.
