    That was amazing to watch! The teamwork and power being put out were incredible! Out of curiosity; when you guys are strung out like that, why don't you rotate the front guys to help them pull longer? That's crazy how much power it must take to pull for that long.

    • @Cyclingwithfree
      @Cyclingwithfree 2 роки тому +1

      Because that’s not his job. Every person on that team or any team has a specific job in a race. His job is to stay protected until the end and launch 🚀 his sprint which is very hard to beat. Plus why change a winning strategy. World tour riders do the same thing. You never see sprinters off the front taking pulls. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. New to racing

    • @kidsafe
      @kidsafe 2 роки тому +5

      @@Cyclingwithfree That’s not what he’s asking. He’s wondering why the leadout guys blow their load and peel off instead of taking shorter turns and slotting back in front of the sprinter. Mainly it's because have enough guys in the train to avoid that added complexity and if the sprinter leaves a gap open, someone else might squeeze in.

    • @smilesformiles1935
      @smilesformiles1935 2 роки тому +1

      @@kidsafe thanks. That's exactly what i was talking about. It looks like a lot of fun! I can only imagine how chaotic it is for each person on the team. It has to be incredibly hard to get that many teammates on the front. It also has to be incredibly hard for other teams to pass them. I'd love to try it one day, but I really don't want to wreck, or make someone else wreck. 🙃

  • @gomezea2

    nothing against the rider, he is strong, fast, and great. But I hope the cycling governing body should change the way they present the winner. First and foremost, this is a team game, but when the winner will be recognized, it becomes an individual event. I understand if this is ITT, but it's not. It's a team effort, right? The domestiques really work hard for that damn protected rider, but in the end, it's only the rider that crossed the finish line that will be recognized, it should be the TEAM! The protected rider or the sprinter cannot win on their own, they need their teammates to bring them to the finish line (let's accept it, drafting is the key), but in the end, the real heroes of the race is not even recognize. The sprinters or protected riders are using their teammates for their own good.. nothing against the Williams brothers, in fact, I'm a fan of them and grateful to them when they organized an event putting a number and name at the back of the rider.
    I'm speaking about the general cycling event. just my two cents..

    Beast, way to race amonsgt some of these idiots. The Cyclane kid looking the wrong way was annoyingly dangerous. These guys are out of position and don't have the man power. I love how you lost the wheel and fought back, I don't think people understand how hard it actually it can be to ride as the closer, with idiot swarming desperatley. I mean, it;s not hard to figure it out, just ride behind your or Justin's wheel and that;s going to be your best opportunity to place well. You're not going to fuck the Legion train, it's too fast and organized. Thank you for sharing the video! Greg Romero
