This is why minimalism is so important. You invest in the things that matter most in your life and you cut down on the clutter of things you really don't need. That goes for both finances and relationships alike.
Maybe because I am a little older now but.... Big House just means more Utilities, taxes, insurance, maintenance....just for the two of us. Nicer car...Well I work from home and actually like staying home. Grocery store only 7 minutes away....hate traffic and crowds. Tech & Toys?.....Too old for that now. I even hate when my phone automatically gets updated overnight and the GUI and layout now looks different. Only 47, but my personality is a total 180 from my 25 year old self.
Number 10! You read my book. I am 100% guilty of shopping for things I don’t need and I have so much now (clothes and jewelry in my case) that I can’t fully appreciate them. As always, thank you Tae!
September 2018 rocked my family with the hurricane Florence. To lives and properties displaced we gave $45k. We also gave in 2020 COVID year. The "Treasure Principle" by Randy Alcorn helped my giving reason why getting $105k in two months is just evident of God's blessings on my household. God never faltered on his written and spoken promises over my family.. All thanks to Mrs Kathy Lien
Getting of IG and FB has done me a lot of good. Far less comparison and why I'm driving a 17 year old car so that I can load up my investment accounts. The fakeness of social media always turned me off.
FOMO is the definition of buying high, selling low. Don't do it. Just do it the slow and steady way. Unless you fancy yourself a stock valuation expert like warren buffet.
My dad paid to get my car detailed for my 28th birthday recently. 500 bucks or so. It was very thoughtful and generous of him and I was grateful. I enjoy how clean and new my car feels now. But you know who noticed besides me? My roommate and my sister. Thats it. No one else knew or cared.
The last parable about the Mexican Fisherman was in a Jimmy John's restaurant in River Falls, Wisconsin. There is some irony in posting this in a corporate fast food sandwich chain. However, Jimmy John's like many other restaurant chains had very simple local origin stories at one time from a single submarine, grinder, or hoagie shop to a multichain U.S. corporation.
I work in the finance industry; I wouldn’t trust any financial advisor or planner as far as I can throw them. They all have the motive to max out their bonuses and that is often contra to the investors’ interests.
Feeling broke because of social media? It's so true! We're all caught up in the upgrade trap. I think I need to un-follow a few 'rich' accounts today... 😂
People still gas light themself a bit like nice things don’t matter or that it’s only done for others optics . I could be alone never seen by anyone in a 10m mountain lodge and fun sports cars and be a lot happier
As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Seren Wintersun’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 732k. Kudos to the journey ahead!
The pump and dump has been a perfect eyeopener for us all to really see how unpredictable the market can be and the need for us to be trading not just seat and hodl.
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
I feel broke all the time because inflation is destroying my wealth. That was until I started saving in Bitcoin, the only deflationary asset. I get your channel is conservative but it’s time to talk about the best performing asset of the last 14 years, Tae.
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Building wealth entails forming wise routines, such as setting aside money on a regular basis for wise investments. The greatest approach to start building money is to start early, and investing should always be a top priority. My experience from the previous year taught me that by investing early this time, I was able to create an acceptable living.

True, A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far
Sure i don't mind. I've stuck with ‘’Sharon Ann Meny” for years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
My gf has the Osmo 3 and she makes cute vlogs. I know my iPhone 15 pro has a better sensor and camera and features and I can just download specific video apps- but the size and not having a phone attached to a gimbal seems makes it seems less awkward and intrusive 😢😅 I must resist too
i challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into stock options which is quite easy since I live frugal without debt. I work as an account exec, and make over $20k. $10k goes into stocks, and the other $10k covers my my food plus living expenses. I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain, but I have to attribute this to only to guidance of a licensed fund manager Abigail Ann Ryan who allocates funds to a plethora of assets. I have to stay disciplined, and remember that I’m in it for the long term.
Looks like she really knows her stuff. I also found her online page and read through her resume, educational background, qualifications and it was really impressive.
Impressive!! Also, I did read about Abigail Ann Ryan on the web, I was able to find her webpage and leave a mail. I'm willing to make consultations to improve my portfolio
How do I convince my wife that we have enough and make enough? She always wants more. She wants a big fancy house filled with stuff. We argue about this.
Ask her to try a "couple's challenge" you saw online. You both write down the top 5 or 10 things you love to do then compare the lists. I 100% guarantee that "furniture shop for a bigger house" won't be on her list.
She likely compares herself to other women online or in her town. It's a comparison issue probably. And no matter what you have, theres probably women online who have a husband who provides more money than you.
if her parents couldn't do it, the only way she'll learn is by hitting rock bottom with no safety net. @lprice5583, your issue is the externality of her hitting rock bottom likely includes dragging you down. if she sees this comment if she doesnt like it, she's past saving, if she sees it and thinks, oh crap, you can work and coach with that to get to a better place. Godspeed.
Crypto is pure garbage. But AI is the real deal. I’ve been a complete loser in the stock market since Lehman. Even losing money on index funds cause of timing issues. Finally won with Palantir. But we’ll see cause I plan to hold for 5-10 years.

Your UA-cam channel is far from boring. It's so on point, extremely informative, and thought-provoking. It's helped me tremendously. Thank you.

Brother, thank you for this. Very timely. I’m on track and doing well but at times feel like I’m so behind. Guilt is a big one!
Out of all the vids, this hits me the hardest. The best kickoff financial tips for 2025. The coolest haircut for 2025 too. Happy new year!
Your camera example is a great one!!

Just getting a car that isn’t 12 years old can deplete savings for a long time.

Make sense and straight forward.
I think man if channels like this existed when our fathers and grandfathers were in their prime things would be a lot different for sure.

Surprisingly the OSO pocket 3 camera is not that expensive.
Better car? Better clothes? Better camera? Nah.
Better hair? Now that's what's important!!!

Consistently investing in quality dividend paying companies over the long term is a relatively easy strategy to create generational wealth

i feel i downplayed the role of FA's in the past.. now actively looking to get one.

This is the kind of transformation I’m looking for. Thanks for the recommendation
lmao was planning to buy the dji camera or fujifilm x100 then I watched this

@Anthony-ys4lp Thanks for that piece of advice. I'll give it a try.
I feel so broke all the time after investing 25% of my income. 😅
And that’s what will keep you from overspending.
being cheap which is counterintuitive vs being frugal which is geniuso is a fine line to walk upon.
That DJI Osmo Pocket 3 sure is cool 😅
found the consumeristic sheep
@ did you now!? You are a very keen observer I see. 🤣
