- Footage shared on social media appears to show explosions, gunfire and anti-aircraft tracer fire across multiple areas of Kyiv.

The invading Russian forces tried to push their way towards the city centre and were met with resistance. The Ukrainian military said Russian troops attacked an army base on a main Kyiv avenue but the assault was repelled.

I can only imagine what it must be like to live in Kyiv and see the sights and sounds of battle raging mere kilometers from your home.
I'd be staying low to avoid stray bullets.

I've watched so many videos of this war. The Ukrainians shooting the footage always remain calm. More calm then I could imagine being. My great grandparents, last minute, decided to escape Ukraine. Never spoke a word of it again to any of us. Very strong people.

a) This is the first time in several decades since a war of this scale has been waged in UA-cam.
b) This is not some small clashes and occasional bombings, this is a full scale invasion with over 100,000 troops into a democratic sovereign country that has never sponsored international terrorism, threatened to invade its neighbours, or even have nuclear weapons which they gave up in exchange for protections from multiple countries INCLUDING Russia (kind of ironic)
c) This could easily and potentially lead to WW3
