There is no way God could replace the family Job lost. Did he get a new family, yes. Did it replace those he lost, no. The question is, why did God allow a good and upright man to be tortured by Satan. Why? You didn’t explain it. If you don’t know, just say so.
It's not meant to be explained. God knows what he's doing.

Because just because we’re good and upright it does not promise or guarantee that we will experience NO SUFFERING. God allows evil in a major part because there is a greater Good that God will bring out of evils. And at the end of the day, we weren’t created to for our personal fulfillment and happiness, but we were created to serve and honor God. And part of honoring and serving God is to do so through enduring pain and suffering
@@UnshakableJay Sounds like slavery. You do understand that thats almost impossible?
OUUU! I love what the man said that "Job had a hedge" if God allowed the hedge the reason for Him removing the hedge is for Job's good too! amen
Loved this discussion. So then is the question "why is God testing satan's power"?🤔 To prove His glory and Job's commitment?
Amen!
Also might I add to this that Job was not greatly beloved and that’s why he was protected. The bible says that Job was a prayerful and upright man who even prayed and made offerings on behalf of his children incase they sinned without knowing and/or offended God un-intentionally..this shows us that his obedience and faithfulness is what brought on the blessings. We don’t know much about how he became so wealthy and blessed EXCEPT for his faithfulness which is the point Satan wanted to use against him saying “Job only loves God because of the blessings” yet we see that void of these blessings he still did his level best to honour God. - As we should in every season of life with its tumultuous ups and downs.
Job feared and that was an opening. God said He doesn’t put sickness on you
I still don’t understand why his family had to say we’re they not innocent his wife and children
I don't think losing your children just to receive a new batch down the road is acceptable. It's just it's just it's beyond my ability to fucking comprehend literally just beyond my ability
Job was reunited with his family in heaven
@@Fredrick-uf6qothat’s deep only true faithful people of the word of God would accept and understand that. This is not our real world we fight to go to the kingdom forever, and we should keep preaching the word of God to everyone especially our love ones.
This wasn't about affliction or rejoicing when "they" persecute you etc...this was God putting it into play. It is different. Thoughts?
This just sounds like brainwashed talk to me.
Job was one of the best sinless and was allowed to be tortured over essentially a wager between God and Satan. Doesnt make sense to me.
Me neither
😢
I interpret it as why we here on earth endure suffering, pain and loss. As believers we are even more tempted to blame God, renounce our faith and succumb to suffering however as Job did persevere he was blessed more than he had been before. Just as we are blessed to be alive and living we even through the pain suffering and loss (brought upon us by sin) if we endure we will experience eternal life in heaven.
Remember the action of Job’s wife in chapter 2 so GOD commandment to Satan was don’t touch on his life but satan used is jobs wife again to tempt him.... which reflects the day of Adam and Eve in the garden... read more and see how job replied to GOD Amen
This is a tough one for me. It seemed like God handed Job over to Satan. Was this actually a lesson to show Job that Job himself can't save others from their sin? Even his own sinning children. Perhaps Job was righteous but he was wasting his time by not ministering to his own children but giving burnt offerings?

@@senyonjopatrick5259yes I understand that but wat about his children?
Heres the answer. Job 31, he has sin...
Tbe mental gymnastics that need to be done to ignore the fact that the two sinless people that have been mentioned in bible were killed and tortured for Gods purpose 😅
So wrong what these people are saying... that God willfully afflicts His children with suffering. God is a loving God, just as we as loving parents love our children unconditionally. Imagine my son thinking, 'Dad's putting me through all this suffering just to check whether I love him or not! Neither does He willingly afflict the children of men, Lamentations 3:33.
The reason there is suffering in this world is because of 'sin.' Sin brings on suffering. God has nothing to do with afflicting us with suffering. We attract suffering mostly by our own actions and the choices and decisions we make based on spiritual laws.
That's a good point to make. My question in the story is, why did God ask Satan if he's considered his servant Job? As if they were working together. Also, Job gave burnt offerings for his children's sins. Why did Job believe doing that would change anything if his kids weren't seeking to change their own ways?
