I think the whole situation regarding ‘Liverpool need a cdm’ etc is right but not the direction Klopp is heading in. He’s realistic on his teams chances that even if Liverpool signed a CDM, would they beat City to the title… probably not? as City have a better squad as a whole. Lyes made a valid point the other week where Liverpool are looking like the Liverpool of old - where if you score 1 they’ll score 2. Given the signings Klopp has made, it looks like Liverpool are going to be playing that sort of style they did in 2016/17 - 2017/18 where Liverpool would score a lot but also concede a lot. It’s looking like Klopp is reverting back to what he knows best - which is attacking football. Therefore he’ll focus on strengthening the attacking football while slowly improving the defence. The good thing is that Klopp doesn’t have to start from scratch like in 2015 - he’s already started the transition bringing in Jota, Nunez and Gakpo and now the midfield rebuild of Szobozlai, Endo, and MacAllister with potentially Gravenberch. The final pieces will be a CB and CDM - similar to when Fabinho and Van Djik signed which were the final pieces to the puzzle in 2018.. the rest is history after that.

Im sorry. Whenever it comes to Liverpool, Abz has no idea what he’s talking about
I had to skip through the Liverpool segment and I’m a Liverpool fan
White cap Abz
abz white cap
Abz is wearing a cap 🤣
Fu is about to have an invincible season
Don't know why Abz is adamant that ten Hag is to blame for bad recruitment when Murtough and Arnold have consistently been screwing him over
Mount, Onana, Antony, Martinez, Malacia are his signings yes, but he also wanted gakpo, timber, dumfries, de jong, kim min jae, disasi etc but the board didn't deliver
They also failed to offload players that ten Hag clearly didn't want like Maguire, mctominay, ronaldo and wan bissaka last year
