In the war zones you can get rid of the limpets and AFM and replace with module/hull reinforcements because you can dock and repair and remain in the instance. Remember the thargs target systems primarily. You can be at 75% hull and have malfunctioning everything LOL. I understand this is a beginners build but why not upgrade the hull packages to heavy duty deep plating too???? Also shard cannons, in my opinion are a good choice for beginners as they fire instantly compared to gauss so you don't have to be on target for that extra few milliseconds while the gauss charges...
Solid point on hull/module reinforcements, and definitely an option - the trainer part of me wants to say that starting with AFMU and Limpets is good practice and theory for later... plus as AX combat expands we're taking on unoccupied systems. Adding in any more engineers would add to more grind and more collection - Selene Jean is well down the tree, and while Liz Ryder's G1 would help a bit, that's a lot of effort for early game players.
@@modernspectrumgaming I have to agree with your points. The less grind for new players the better. Who wants to play a game where you have to grind for 3 weeks just to go shoot some thargs? Even unengineered hull modules is better than nothing too lol. And for those pilots that are really new to combat then the new advanced AX multicannons are a great choice for practicing on scouts just to get used to things.
Indeed, strapping Enhanced-AXMC in place of the Gauss and you have a great Scout Killer; if you're in a group of AX players then you'll be well rewarded both with credits and with thanks for being the scoutscout.
this deserves MUCH more attention! this is an awesome video thanks
Thank you! I'm using your video (while crediting you) for my stream tonight to break into thargoid hunting!
