Laura is incredibly smart. She knows exactly what Grey is that's why she didn't go alone. Though her disappearing whilst going to see Grey would've been suspicious she knew better then to take the risk just to gloat. That guy wasn't only there to get the contract signed he was there as her backup because she wanted to wipe that smug smile off Grey's little rat face and still live to cherish the memory. Don't know if Laura will ever appear again but she had been a *very* enjoyable minor character. What a queen!
Did Chantel speak with anyone at the firm. I think Laura suspected the abuse. Maybe I am remembering things wrong.

@@lynnecrisp The nurse was the only witness to see bruises on Chantelle. I'm very curious to know how does Laura suspect Gray its like as if she knows he is controlling and abusive. It also looks as if she knows he killed Chantelle. Maybe the solicitor David that Chantelle went to for legal advice must of said something to Laura maybe.

Laura is right Gray has an issue with black women. He is sexually attracted to black women but he doesn't respect them. I am glad the writers pointed this out. Gray is definitely a misogynist! I appreciate Eastenders discussing race and yes it matters. Gray sees himself as superior to Laura despite her being his boss because she is a black woman.
What utter rubbish. He killed a white woman too and last time I checked Whitney was white and he tried to control her.

Laura was FANTASTIC here how she warned Gray off and to make sure that everything he deserves comes to him also the way Laura was speaking it's like she knew what he did to Chantelle especially how she kept looking at her photo.

Laura absolutely went for the jugular on Gray, and blew him out the water !! Gray’s weakness is when a woman is not scared of him and confronts him and Laura knows how to play him at his own game. I think maybe Chantelle told Laura Gray was abusing her, just how she was looking at Chantelle’s picture 👀 I think she knows Gray killed her.

@@tessy28 also it turned out Gray broke his mums arm and gave her black eyes. I could tell the story to the therapist was a lie and ploy to manipulate Chantelle at the time. Just glad they aired scenes with his father. It was his mother who made excuses for his abusive behaviour. The fathers regret was listening to her. Gray was a demon child effectively.

Only a short time on the the square for the moment, but Laura should already cast as a full-time character for the show. I think she's more than proven to be quite rather decent.

When is the story line going to be knocked on the head it’s become boring because it’s been dragging on too long. Have to hand it to Laura she knows how to play Gray at his own game. That must have been a real kick in the guts for him., he’s starting to unravel now. He will eventually be outsmarted, she is certainly awake up him. Imagine her at his trial, she would put him in his place because she just did a great job putting him back in his box.
Queen Laura is an icon, make her a regular character please.

Yeah that hasnt made sense yet. She has infact mentioned it twice with no explaination so the writers are either trying to bait or theyll explain later. Other than that, I loved this scene!

They--clearly--exhibit an actor's-syncopation in lines-delivery, as well as an appreciation of each other's timing. I would LOVE to see more of them; within theatre productions, and in film. And, I do not believe that I am "alone in this ambition.
