Really appreciate it! Is it a "set it and forget it" or is there some recommended/required maintenance to keep it working? If I am understanding correctly I'd set this up locally on my network with a static IP such as 192.168.1.10, then on my router set 192.168.1.10 as primary DNS (then do the public DNS I set up in the configuration for secondary?) and it will pull the DNS records from the caching server instead of the public DNS I'm using?

Fire Wouldn't mind a dhcp and Tacacs one too
Got you!
Do I not have to point my name server to my loopback address?
