THIS IS SO CATCHY AHH T^T THE EMOTIONS IN THE BEGINNING, you can really tell Emily is pissed and enraged at the fact Sera's hid the extermination from her. I also love how emily's eye is glowing in the center :) you just continuously expand the universe of Hazbin through interesting POVs through your rewrites its epic.
Ok, I was concerned about the title of this. The OG Poison is about self hatred caused by angel blaming himself for his own abuse. The song is bouncy because he's running away from reality. He's distracting himself, and to be honest i didn't think that changing the lyrics would work with Emily and this song because the theme was different. But.. Blimey @milymelodies, that tone change from the original into a more aggressive rather than flighty is f*cking genius. You get that guilt and sense of betrayal that the og song had, but you get a singer who is well aware and PISSED about it and it is glorius. Usually rewrite covers and parodies struggle to come off as more than mere gimmicks, but this is genuinely near perfect. Bravo. Bravo.

Now this is the Emily I wish we saw more of. I get that her long trust of Sera is why she seemed to not continue with the argument after the court trial- even if that trust was damaged, it's hard to not trust someone you've cared about for years- but I still love how Emily stood up for her beliefs. And the fact that Sera said that if Emily continued to question, she could end up fallen. So what? If she questions Sera, she could end up falling? Not God or Heaven, but just because Emily was questioning Sera? Lets put aside that questioning things is how you grow your perspective and understand more things. Are Sera and Emily not of the same rank? Yet Sera would be abusing her power if she made Emily fall for literally embodying what Heaven is meant to be about. If demons really were uprising then the Exorcists should have just handled the ones that were uprising while leaving the rest alone. Not the ones who were innocent in the matter. And if Hell really was overpopulating then they could just expand or just go along with Charlie's plan for the souls not uprising. Or both. You can't tell me that Heaven is somehow not overpopulated in the show but Hell is. Or what? Do they exterminate angels too? I doubt that and I assume they just expand Heaven upon need.
I don't know how big Heaven is but even if let's say 10% of humans go to Heaven the population of Heaven will build up over thousands of years so I don't know how Heaven doesn't have a population problem when they claim that Hell does.

Are Sera and Emily not of the same rank? Yet Sera would be abusing her power if she made Emily fall for literally embodying what Heaven is meant to be about.
If demons really were uprising then the Exorcists should have just handled the ones that were uprising while leaving the rest alone. Not the ones who were innocent in the matter. And if Hell really was overpopulating then they could just expand or just go along with Charlie's plan for the souls not uprising. Or both. You can't tell me that Heaven is somehow not overpopulated in the show but Hell is. Or what? Do they exterminate angels too? I doubt that and I assume they just expand Heaven upon need.
I don't know how big Heaven is but even if let's say 10% of humans go to Heaven the population of Heaven will build up over thousands of years so I don't know how Heaven doesn't have a population problem when they claim that Hell does.
@@leebulger7112Heaven is in the sky, and the sky goes ON and ON. Hell is underground, and you an only dig a whole so deep or put so much stuff in it till it eventually hits the bottom or fills up.

She didn't even have the decency to witness the evil she unleashed, but just kept sitting there in pretty, sorrowfree heaven, keeping her hands clean (welll, physically anyway) while below millions were slaughtered and even hell-born children, who never committed any sins of their own weren't shown mercy.

It's interesting how Emily's comparing Sera to him, because for how they critic him(to be fair some of it is deserved tho)they really aren't much better
Sera probably does just want to keep heaven safe from the possibility of an uprising, but that doesn't excuse her complicity to genocide sinners aren't good people(not most of them)but they don't deserve to be killed like that again,hence she acts willfully ignorant.
That leads to her contributing to even more suffering
She probably feels like there really isn't any other way so she resorts to this,but now that the knowledge of souls being redeemed has been verified than I can see her changing her methods she's misguided so even with everything she did taken into account I can see her being more open to redemption
The point is things are neither black or white, it's in the grey area Heaven isn't inherently wrong,neither is Lucifer inherently right, everyone was doing what they thought was right, and some of those decisions led to horrible consequences that caused suffering to thousands
