Just watched this video, not 10 minutes ago, I was reading a post from a friend and coworker about how she has cancer. She is a strong Christian woman, and has so much energy and joy! I know that God can heal her, and I’m trying to not dwell on that word “carcinoma “. Trying to change my mindset.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Yes, God can heal your friend! He can do anything! And books like Mind Over Medicine have me convinced that our mind is more powerful in our health than most of us realize. That said, even if he doesn't heal your friend, he is still good and worthy of worship! One thought I struggle with is “my work is not worthwhile.” I had to ponder a bit to put words to that thought. I think putting words to it helps identify it so I can fight back against it.

Hey Leanne! I don't know what you do but I can tell you that EVERY kind of work (unless it's blatantly sinful work LOL) is worthwhile and can bring glory to God! That your work isn't worthwhile is a big fat lie from the devil, to be blunt. :D How is God using you in your work? :)

Totally! Thanks for this comment! I touched on this a bit toward the end about finding Scripture that actually feels true to you (or sometimes it can just make you feel frustrated when you're repeating "I'm fearfully and wonderfully made" but you hate how you look, for example) but I could have gone deeper on that. Scripture is FOR SURE the BEST thoughts to infuse our minds with! Thanks for pointing this out.
Hi Diana, love this video. I have a video request. You often mention you enjoy pouring out to your neighbors. Can you share some ways you do this? I have a neighbor who lost his wife this year and my husband noticed he seems a little lost when he sees him/talks to him, I feel compelled to reach out in some way but he's quite a bit older and I am just not sure how to do this! We live in a neighborhood and I'd love to do this in general but no idea where to start. Can you share a video on your pouring out to neighbors/community
I will add this to my ideas list! Part of it is trying to see where my gifts/capacity overlap with the needs of my community/the situations God has me in! Another part is just making the time to be home enough and outside enough/going on walks often to get to know people and be available to converse and help out. :) But I could say so much more! Maybe I will do a video about that! Thanks for the idea!
