First, let me say that I love your ministry and I am a monthly supporter. I heard Nathan at the very end of your video tell everyone that it only takes a simple prayer, like he prayed, to guarantee that a person has Salvation. People all over the United States and the world love to hear a message like that, but I don't believe a simple prayer guarantees Salvation. Yes, Christ did everything for us to enter into Heaven. Yes, there is nothing we can add to Christ's Sacrifice for our sins. However, a simple one time activity, such as a prayer, is not a guarantee of Salvation. A Christian must abide in Christ. He must take up his cross daily. He must strive for holiness, confess sins daily and repent. There are too many people living in sin and going to Hell, yet believing they are saved because some Pastor told them to say a prayer for Salvation.
The moment you sincerely ask Jesus into your heart and ask Him to forgive you of your sins, you are born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. You can't be unborn or unsealed. All of those things you say a new Believer must do to stay saved are works. However, all of those "works" are what grow into an intimate relationship with Jesus and also will be rewarded at the Bema seat. Many Believers will cry at the Bema seat because all they have to show for their life is a pile of ashes.
@@suzannehansen7663If Ananihas and Sapphira his wife died in their sin, yet they were believers, take heed less you too die in your sin and perish. You have no idea of the consequences of sin. If that was so, people would drop one after the other everywhere. The story was meant to teach a lesson for Christian living and not a lesson of salvation. A & S were saved bec they were believers. Good works is one evidence of being born-again. We don't do good works to earn salvation or to maintain salvation. Obedience is a result of salvation but each believer's degree of obedience varies and everyone falls short of the 100% requirement of God for obedience. Only the Lord Jesus did. Only by believing in him that one is justified by virtue of Jesus' substitutionary sacrifice.
An Analysis, by me, of the popular "Once saved always saved" doctrine, and how it is preached by many. The trouble of the “once saved always saved” doctrine is that so many of these Pastors has taken dispensationalism to the extreme. They teach that all a person has to do is say "Yes" to the gospel and no matter what they do after that they are still saved. I, of course, believe that it is more complicated than that. There are several beliefs that so many modern Pastors hold to, and they are these: 1. Once a person said "yes" to the gospel they are eternally saved, no matter what they do after having said "yes". This conveniently puts God into a box for the person that is taught this. No longer is there any need for confession or repentance. Some Pastors even teach that repentance is a form of works and that there is absolutely no need for confession, “God already knows what sins you are going to do, and has already forgiven and paid for them, thus no need for confession or repentance.” Of course this explanation flies in the face of Scripture, but they use their fallen human logic to make sense of everything. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 2. So many of these Pastors believe that it is NOT their responsibility as a Pastor to warn his church members about sin, if they have said "Yes" to the Gospel, because all those sins were "taken care of at the cross, you know hay, straw, stubble". So many believe that their responsibility toward their sheep, or anyone, is simply to convey the message of the cross. The rest is up to Christ. Besides why would any of these Pastors that teach that all of the congregation are saved ever preach about sin, the sin issue has been dealt with, according to their belief system. 3. They do not believe that this verse applies to Christians, but only to the Jews of Jesus's time. Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ These Pastors do not care whether or not a person is really saved. They do not consider that to be any of their business, but God's. They continually assure people that they are saved when they may not be. It becomes evident that they have little worry for anyone that is living in sin. They do not see that as a significant issue. However, the every individual should "examine themselves to see if they are in the faith". These Pastors have their theology in one neat bow tied box, that even Scripture can not penetrate. I've heard some Pastors say things like this: Eph. 1:13 "in Him also, after listening to the gospel of your salvation having also believed you were sealed (a sign of ownership) in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance (we are heirs in Christ) with a view to the redemption of God's own possession to the praise of his glory." So, if when we heard the gospel and believe and are given the Holy Spirit and are Sealed as God's own possession, how can we become unsaved? For those people who are truly saved this verse applies, only if they endure to the end. It is just common sense that there are some people who have been told that they are saved that are not. Christ even spoke about this in the parable of the sowers (Mark 4). Of course that parable would not apply to people who teach that once you have said a prayer or "accepted Christ into your heart" or walked an aisle that you are saved eternally. Those who accepted the message with gladness and then fell away would still be considered saved by those people. People CAN and DO lie to themselves all the time, and when they have a Pastor who always tells them that they are saved, when they are not, this reinforces that lie. There is no "working out your salvation with fear and trembling". There is no need for a changed life or becoming the new creation in Christ. No outward manifestation of salvation is necessary, as many of these false Christian Pastors would say. I believe that mankind does not give up his free will. Even though he has been sealed by the Holy Spirit, he or God can break that seal by his rejection of Christ and His sacrifice later in his life. Hebrews 6:4-6 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. To the Once Saved Always Saved people, this can never happen. They have taken away the free will of men. No where in Scripture does it say that God can not break a seal or "blot out" names from the book of life. Actually, there are Scriptures that indicate that this actually does happen. Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. My thing is this: God can do anything. If he has decided to cast someone into the outer darkness, that was once saved, then He can do it. Take, for example, this: Luke 12:45-46 But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. So, Christ pictures here a servant (a believer) who is living as an evil unbeliever when He returns. What does He do? Does He say, "Come into my Kingdom, because you once said a prayer, walked an aisle, made a proclamation of Faith or did the JD Farag ABCs of Salvation." No, He assigned him a place with the unbelievers.
This modern Christian theology is crazy, they love to put God in a box, for their own and other's belief system. There is no "working out your salvation with fear and trembling" for these Pastors that preach “once saved always saved” with no further examination needed of their lives. Gone is the concern for salvation, confession, repentance on a daily basis, in most churches. Never can a persons name be blotted out of the book of life, although the Bible indicates that it does happen. Never can a person shipwreck his or her faith, although the Bible speaks of this happening. Never can a person leave the faith who has tasted the heavenly gift and eternally damn himself, because he can not crucify Christ again, although the Scriptures teach that he can. Gone are the days of the daily walk of the Christian as portrayed in "Pilgrims Progress". Instead we've got the simple "ABCs" of salvation that JD Farag, Calvary Chapel in Hawaii, is so proud of. A good example of picking and choosing verses and ignoring the whole council of God. "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless indeed you fail the text". I will say this final thing, this kind of thinking OSAS has not been around very long within Christianity. The book "Pilgrims progress" and the recorded sermons of the past prove that. I am not saying that the Pastors of the past had it completely right, but compared to those of today they are closer to the truth. Most modern Pastors of today would have been branded heretics. I do believe that works will never save anyone. No, anything beyond faith is not works. Some of these Pastors are beyond my understanding.
What are we in Heaven doing for all eternity well Rev. 7:15 says we will serve him. In what capacity depends on our service here but we will have duties based on our obedience here. Isaiah 9:7 say of the increase of his government and peace shall not end upon the throne of David...............The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. Does this mean we will help rule over newly terra-formed planets that house other humans born during and after the millenium as the water of life or the leaves for the healing of the nations is not for the Church Age believers but for those who come after.We will be in redeemed bodies and do not need sustenance. Oh well something too think about!
The guy said, can you explain how we get into heaven, and the gospel of our salvation was not given! CRINGE..... If you are reading this and are not sure how to get into heaven or be saved, please study the book of Romans; especially Romans 10:9 " If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and Believe in thine heart God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." + Nothing. When you confess and believe Jesus Christ our Lord died for our sins, was dead, and arose again the 3rd day, you will be saved, not maybe, you will be saved. Please read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 where Paul makes it so clear how we are saved. The gospel: Christ died for our sins, was dead and arose again the 3rd day. BELIEVE IT, and you'll enter God's rest, you're justified completely, now move on to sanctification as we wait for glorification when Christ takes us home.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 King James Version 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Love your comments! When Paul says 'according to the scriptures', what he's really saying here is that after careful studying of the scriptures, during his sojourn in Arabia, he can verify that Jesus of Nazareth fufilled ALL Bible prophecies alluding to and directly stated in the OT. Paul, like a posthumous lawyer appointed to administer the estate of the departed, ticks the boxes on the checklist and confirms that Jesus was the Messiah. Luke's gospel plus Acts, along with Paul's letters altogether confirm it all! Hallelujah!
If Heaven is for " Saved " people, then sooner it will become another dwelling place for the spirit of Lucifer's , Eve's, Judas's. Heaven is for " Saved, Perefectd & Righteous " Souls. Which is people who reached to the image of Christ. For this reason, Jeaus asked from Father God to send Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit came to earth to dwell in ones who seek Him for the purpose of transformation to the said purpose of transforming to the image of Christ. Which was lost by our forefather in the garden of Eden. Hence, please don't mislead the people.
To be honest I don't believe in the promotion of books etc on the show . They could be left in the info at the end . The only book to be promoted should be the KJV Bible!

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
King James Version
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Love your comments!
When Paul says 'according to the scriptures', what he's really saying here is that after careful studying of the scriptures, during his sojourn in Arabia, he can verify that Jesus of Nazareth fufilled ALL Bible prophecies alluding to and directly stated in the OT.
Paul, like a posthumous lawyer appointed to administer the estate of the departed, ticks the boxes on the checklist and confirms that Jesus was the Messiah. Luke's gospel plus Acts, along with Paul's letters altogether confirm it all!
Hallelujah!
Try watching ALL the video. The Gospel to receive salvation was given at 24:54.
Agree!
HEAVEN IS NOT A CUBE. . ISLAM 🕋 IS.
