Damn this looks outrageous! I'm happy I purchased this camera!! Can you shoot a music video? I would like to see how the a6300 performs with more dynamic footage. Thanks!
Probably be announced at one of the shows this year. Not sure they will show it at NAB next month or at the other show later this year. Photokina in Sept.
Trying to decide on getting this camera vs the A7s or A72 for music video/ commercial / video like this .. anybody know the differences / is it worth paying more for the A7 ??
Dude this is amazing! Did you use slog and if you do how do you get rid of all the noise, I recently bought an a6300, absolutely love it but I do have some trouble getting rid of the noise in slog... Thanks a bunch
Amazing shots! Keep up the greeat work! Just two Question out of curiosity: 1.What was the reason to go with the SLR 1.33x and not 2x? 2. Are you ever going to release your blog posts in english? (fingers crossed=))
+darwinfish105 can you do please a video that focuses on skin tones and texture in the context of a narrative film frame? basically lots of medium and head and shoulder shots of people. audio isn't required. thanks
it doesn't matter what a camera can do unless skin tones and skin texture is acceptable, so this is the first thing you should test with any camera. otherwise you're just fooling yourself and others that this camera can work in a narrative format. it's you obligation to do it, so make some fucking time or what you have here is just more camera propaganda.
+steve eastwoofer I did not know that the test of the skin tone was absolutely necessary with any camera. Because you are it in knowledge than me, I am not an appropriate respondent. I can not answer to you anymore questions.
beautifully done. the last shot going down the escalator was perfect

Wow Sony is killing it with the cameras!! Makes me want to sell my G7.... but will probably wait to see what the GH5 has to offer.
Any idea on when it's suppose to come out?
Probably be announced at one of the shows this year. Not sure they will show it at NAB next month or at the other show later this year. Photokina in Sept.
+Junior Aristide Most likely Photokina
+Eric Timmer will priced 2399 USD ONLY BODY SAME AS A7R II AND A7S II
Yeah it will be a bit pricey. We'll see if they will improve the low light and have image stabilization built in. Well at least that's what i want.
Nice lens flares👍🏽
I always watch your videos before i make a purchase. :) (except my impulsive buy on the A6300) haha
love it

Trying to decide on getting this camera vs the A7s or A72 for music video/ commercial / video like this .. anybody know the differences / is it worth paying more for the A7 ??

How is the battery life on this one without accessories compared to say, the A7 series?
+OKexperience 10-20% longer.
So good!
You record it in 4K right? How did you get rid of the rolling shutter @4K while handheld?
I dont know what editor he used, but I shoot 4k on the a6300 and Final Cut X has rolling shutter corrector.
4K.
use OSS lens and as much as possible not move.
vandit6354 Thanks man, I was wondering if I had to buy it. any recommendations?

Great video. Do you use a de-noise plugin for night shots?
+David Zimms no.
The video is so smooth!
Did you use a tripod or you just hold it with your hands :)?
+羅政捷 tripod at night. hand-held at day.
How did you color grand that?
+RISE UP TV
I used vision color impulz LUT and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Lumetri basic setting at day

Lumetri basic setting at night
LUT: Kodak Vis3 50D 5203 (DP) _FPE / tint: -20 / Highlights: -50 / shadow: +25

You're videos are amazing. Do you work in filmmaking etc or is this just a hobby for you?
+Sophie Beaumont just a hobby.

Thanks a bunch
S-log3 is noisy. I used S-log2 in this video.
Amazing work!!! Is this handheld or did you use a stabilizer?
handheld in the daytime. tripod at night.
Question, do you use plugins for the lens flare or do you actually have an anamorphic filter/lens?
+DMCDV I used SLR Magic Anamorphot.
Hey, another question. what are your render settings? You're the only one on youtube that has videos that can fill my ultrawide monitor
H.264, target bitrate 96Mbps
Nice work, as always! Can you tell me the type of tripod you use, and with what kind of head? thanks!
+Rob Stolk Gitzo GT1541T(discontinued) and Really Right Stuff BH-25.
Since the lightness is important, I do not use heavy video head.
+darwinfish105 awesome, thanks!

1.What was the reason to go with the SLR 1.33x and not 2x?

so the parade was shot with the SONY E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6? what's the shallow depth of field situation with this lens? thanks
+steve eastwoofer
Yes, 16-50mm. close to subject.
+darwinfish105 can you do please a video that focuses on skin tones and texture in the context of a narrative film frame? basically lots of medium and head and shoulder shots of people. audio isn't required. thanks
+steve eastwoofer
I have no time to do such a thing.
it doesn't matter what a camera can do unless skin tones and skin texture is acceptable, so this is the first thing you should test with any camera. otherwise you're just fooling yourself and others that this camera can work in a narrative format. it's you obligation to do it, so make some fucking time or what you have here is just more camera propaganda.
