Amazona by Bochinche

I strongly believe the information about this particular Salsa Climate Change Amazon song that is out there is incorrect, if my memory serves me correct this band is from the early 70's and not 90's. As well it was never released on CD, only through cassette tape. I will be able to confirm this for sure in about 4 months. This is definitely an impactful Climate Change Salsa Song with a strong warning and message that should be heeded.

Hello Tito, thank you for sharing this tune. It was part of the album "Caracas" recorded in 1990 on cassette and CD. I co-wrote it together with Barney Brazitis. Thanks again mi pana y que viva la salsa!

I was one of the original members and the bass player of Bochinche. This song was written by Eduardo Quintero and myself. Eduardo wrote the words and I wrote the music. It was released on cassette amd CD in the mid to late '80s, I'm thinking 1988 ish. I appreciate your thoughts about It, and it still seems very relevant to the issues today. Thank you for sharing it!
