preddie boy its funny I was talking to another Islamaphobes, he mentioned Pew Research, I asked him a simply question and he didn't reply back.
What makes Pew polls so reliable, and accurate. Who are they? Where do they get the data from? Areas, location, etc. What's type of Muslims do they ask their questions to (Wahabi, salad, shia, Sunni etc) . how big is there research (how many people do they ask).
Seems like alot of Islamaphobes use this Pew poll, really I want to know why, is it because it fits your narrative of what Islam is?

The problem here is that Karim wants to focus on the nice quotes in the Qu'ran but ignores the harsher ones, and tries to explain them away. If you want to see how one should rationally respond to the Quran's difficult verses you only need to go to Convert2Islam channel and see what verses and his backup of those verses which convinced him that he should not stay in the religion of Islam.
Karim is kind of the poll opposite of the Isis mentality. One takes the good stuff and ignores the bad, the other takes the bad and ignores the positive passages. It goes to show that it is all a matter of interpretation not just of passages, but of the entire book. And it is always an interpretation that best serves the needs of the person doing the interpreting.
Toni Wilson There in lies the problem. People pick and choose what they want. If they truly believe that the entire Quran is from God, than you would deal with the whole text and not just the parts you like.
I admire the man from the channel that Karim made a response video for. The one who left Islam, simply because he saw no way that you could justify the verses that allow rape and pillage of the women who are the wives of prisionors of war.
Put simply, if Karim believes in the whole of the Quran than he can't ignore those verses.,
I don't think the #1 problem is Islamic terrorism. The #1 problem is that it is simply a 7th century social blueprint trying to fit into the 21st century without any alterations needed to fit the modern world. Karim is apparently not up to helping make any of those necessary alterations.

In the original comment, I actually wondered what direction the "education" was intending to go. I'll assume that what was meant was the education of non Muslims to Islam rather than the education of Muslims to Islam. I wondered because when it comes to the knowledge of Islam, the non Muslim comments may be the more knowledgeable comments. I am not referring to the hate-filled ones, which are sad.

I think that there might be a mistake in the translation you read because in islam there is justice between the two genders. in paradise women meet their husbands if they were in a good relationship, God gives them silk, jewels, servants and all what they want. They charge interest, and call it rent. Common islamic financial agreements, such as sukuks, are made when the borrower pledges some productive asset as security to their lender, and pays them some percentage of the earnings of that asset or agrees to resell the asset at a fixed price later to the lender. So at the end of the day interest is charged, they just call it something else. It functions quite similar to loans that businesses or people in the west use to buy cars or houses (where you lose the house or car if you don't pay on time), except the only acceptable collateral (if you were being strict) would be productive buildings like factories or commercial real estate or tractors or something. Long story short, its a lot of mental gymnastics to do the same exact stuff as normal financiers, except it also gives cover for apologists like Karim to say "Islam is why I don't charge interest" even though all banks in the islamic world and/or financial vehicles such as sukuks charge and give interest in another name (the net cashflow for Karim to get a 20k car when he only has 10k would be the same in Qatar or the US).

First off, I commend you for being so nice. I'm personally not like that, I'm more a Hitchguy, where I think you are more a Harrisguy regarding approach.
Secondly, I would like to say that it is unnecessary to show complete lists of Islamic terrorism, or a list of Medina verses.
Those are points in the that viewers either lose interest or need to pause to read up on the information. It may be better to read out a couple of examples, while the list scrolls in the background.. next refer to a link in the comments for the viewers if they want to look into it if they are skeptic about your examples..
(it may be an Idea to isolate those topics and make videos on them seperately, so you can use those videos to refer back to)

Hi Martin. There is a difference between receiving the word of God with proof, and receiving the word of God without proof. Prophet Muhammad(Peace and Blessings be upon him) received the word of God with proof. You can google up miracles that are mentioned in the Qur'an to find out more. As we know it, 1400 years ago, technology is very limited and knowing certain things at that time, is impossible. Only now in the modern world, some of these theories came to light, where it has already been a known fact to Muslims 1400 years ago.
