When I came to this part, I had to stop playing twice, because of those rocket/ray/cluster missile things. This video helped man me figure out the timing to reflect them. Wait until the absolute last second, in fact, when the things are actually on you to deflect.
Thanks for the vid! Just beat the game. I didn't know you could deflect the blue color as well. I assumed you could, but my timing was way off. Too bad this game doesn't have Trophies. If it did, it would have been way more well known. Really challenging game with AMAZING visuals and a decent story. Really enjoyed this game. Definitely one to keep in a persons PS3 library!
this boss was pretty hard! took me like 6 times to beat him. and in the end the only damn bolts I reflected were the orange ones holding R1 and triangle. My dumbass didn't know how to reflect the blue ones until I read the comments haha oops!! oh well...I got the job done anyways. Loved this game

Red koi Well my opinion is mostly based on my personal expierence about this. Also because i started hack & slash games / adventure with top games like god of war and asuras wrath you know with all the badass action so thats why this game was more like a little snack then a full meal if you know what I mean.
Red koi Bayonetta 1 and the devil may cry 4 and also castelvania lords of shadows but like said its my personal opinion. The fact that did not mention other hack&slash like ninja gaiden or sacred and that kind of games has nothing to do with my knowledge of this genre of games. I dont find it very important tough

I gave up.. and came up here because i wanted to know if it ended the same way the movie did.. by the way, this game was awesome and so was the movie.. I specially loved the movie.. i was so emotionally attached to it.. I guess not everyone likes the same thing..

I was sporting a ps2 then so I didn't worry too much about it... years later, I got a ps3, but forgot about the game.. years later, I see the movie in my netflix... I watch it.. I love it.. I leave immediately and get a copy of the game.... I believe that answers your question as to why they'd make a movie... or at least partially. yes, its an actual movie, the animation and voice work has been done over, new voice actors, new subplots, new characters and the story has been re-imagined but stays true to the game.. people felt the same way you felt, said it was unnecessary, and the animation was bad but i thought it was great.

Despite game being beautiful and really cool, I’m getting rid of it and won’t ever play it again, even looking at that CD makes me want to smash everything in the room. XD

The 1st phase of this fight was easy but the 2nd phase was annoying. I remember fighting the 2nd phase head-on and have to focus my attention to those red unblockables.
I hate bosses on ps consoles! I had to slowdown game to 70% to I can reflect projectiles and losing 5 hours of my life! *PC master race emulator user ofc :P

After 5 Tries in his last phase,i had a slither of health i pressed 0 to end It and the game didn't register it
