Guilin, China

The photos in this slideshow were taken by Michael Pietrusewsky in late September 2024 while on a 2-day visit to Guilin, a small city located on the banks of the Li River in northeast region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The city, and surrounding region, are known for its renowned limestone karst scenery. Limestone caves, such as the Reed and Flute cave, are also popular tourist attractions in addition to a boat ride down the Li River to view the karst mountains.
