As always, an amazing showcase and probably the best table layout on the Planet. I love the 'special guest' concept which turns the case in a completely different synth, and the sheer convenience of having the KOII nearby. (Yeah, the joystick is modulatable).
Just came back the 3d time to watch and listen to the last song. So great! Got a late-night-driving-through-sleeping-city vibe over it :) Keep posting your have such a unique style which sets you a part from most of the other channels I'm watchin on youtube! So glad I found your channel! I would be interested in the creative process creating these small songs/demos. So of a peek behind the scene. How do you come up with the rhythms for your tracks etc?
Glad you enjoyed that one! I did spend a bit more time on that jam than I normally do. I’ll add that to my list of video ideas. Typically tho I’ll put down some rough ideas and then develop each instrument individually. Once a bass line, for example, has been fine tuned, I’ll go back to the rough drum track and make it fit the bass more, etc.
Great video ,how do you get it to change keys, I've been struggling with that and how to add a trigger to stop the osc from playing a drone after the sequence has stopped?..
If you’re using a sequencer then look for the transpose function. On the Beat Step Pro you press and hold sequence and press a pad to transpose the sequence. To stop the osc from droning you can patch it into a vca, turn the volume down, and use an envelope to open the vca. Alternatively put it in a filter, turn the cut off all the way down and use an envelope to open the filter.
@ ok thank you. At the moment I’m using Pam’s pro workout for clock / tempo and Intellijel scales for bass lines. I’ll run it thru the filter and low cut and vca mute. I have a micro freak. I can try using the cv

Thanks man! I watched your vector wave video again today. Some ridiculously good sounds from that setup.
What a performance! It looooved the vocals and the music in the last track!
I’m glad you enjoyed it ☺️
Really enjoyed your drum and bass song
Oh man, love the song of the 3rd combo. I know it’s not easy to record a EP or album, but please do. It totally hits my mood today.
Actually, the hole video is kind of an EP without the talking?
Thanks man! I’m gonna compile some of the better jams from my videos and live performances and put them out :)
Must watch again. Good combos.
I say that all the time with Ally's videos.
Thanks man
Fantastic content. Really informative and love the sounds you get from your setups. 😎
Thank you! ☺️
I love those long filter envelopes on your final jam. That would be great to hear develop into something as time allows. Sweet stuff!
The atlas sounds lovely on poly synths. Will definitely explore it more!
good sounds as usual
Cheers!
The last jam is just superb 👌
Thank you! I spent a bit more time on that one than usual :)
Loved the last track! I felt some David Sylvain/Sakamoto and Junior Boys vibes :)
Thank you! Definitely took some inspiration from them ☺️

Thanks!
Do you compress/Eq the tracks afterwards?
Nice vocals btw!
Thanks! I do some EQ’ing and compression, but not too much.

That’s the name of my future book.
