OOh Wall St. I love you so Much. I use to work on Wall St. In the Art Store. I was the Canon Laser Copy Guy in the window at Catskill Art and Supply. I think they moved down to the plaza. So Lovely. ❤️💯👏⭐️🌹🔥🎥
Yes!! I need to go upstate for a little road trip! Eng's restaurant looks good! LOL.. phone before bed, ain't that the truth? I love these lighthouse tours.. old town views.. glad you guys got to go out and enjoy the trip!
You really should! Especially now that the trees are changing colors and there's pumpkin picking and all the Fall activities. And the solar boat tour was so relaxing.
Great video once again!!! First thing I noticed was Kamau's T-shirt....loved it. Then Selena had me cracking up when she went and got dressed and had her passport in hand! That definitely would be been me...lol. Those stairs at the air bnb were so noisy....kinda creeper me out. You guys always find good spits to get food...that oxtail meal looked so freaking good!...and was that salad I saw for breakfast on your last day? I was a bit sad that the video was only 7 plus minutes long but I'm looking forward to others. See you soon.
Oh wow, you wanted more?! It was short just cause we didn't want to repeat the things we did last time. But good to know! Haha and that was greens with an omelet that got jumbled in transport. Haha. Tried getting to look better but it wasn't working with me. And the jamaican spot was such a random find. And we looked them up and they were actually featured in bon appetit! It's crazy how we find these places with amazing stories like Eng's. We're going to reactivate our website's blog to start featuring them more. Kamau LOVES that Plantain shirt. He designed it a couple years ago.
Soooo.... Being from the Kingston area, the boat that you referenced to being almost a restaurant is an old hospital boat. This boat is called the "Floating Hospital". Abandoned in the waters for years, used to assist during 9/11. Also, I would recommend Sunrise Bagels as a breakfast spot if you come back... Cheers
Thanks for the history. They did mention one of the boats was planned to be transformed into a restaurant, but that could've been after being used as a hospital. Can't remember though. Appreciate that info though. And the bagel spot😉. We will definitely be back
Yummy, just would've wanted a little more spice to kick it up a notch and it would've been perfect. But as you can assume, not many ppl in that area can probably handle spice like that haha. So we understand.
Hahaha That intro was hilarious! Love the chop suey sign! There's a similar place in Kenosha. These smaller towns are great for relaxing. That's so cool you guys did a podcast. Solar panel boat? Nice! Oh yea. hhhh, that Jamaican food looks right down our alley. Heck yes! Brownie sundays sounds great too. Smaller towns make you feel free right about now.
I've been to WoodStock for a Reggae Concept. Burning Spear. It's the cleanest air in the world up there. Maybe it had just rained but I never felt air that clean before. Must be Healthy. Lovely Video!!
I wanna try some of your oxtail! Haha. And I'm not sure what's going on with my skin but I've been trying to eat healthier at least 5 days a week and up my water. 🤷🏾♀️ But I'm loving it. I had no foundation in this video.
Guys, this was kinda fun. My wife and I are local up here and we enjoyed your content. Let me know when I can torture you, typo, escort you on a local hike lol.
Hello, I have a friend that I met through Instagram who lives in this city. Kingston in New York. Very nice to find out that you guys have this video on UA-cam, because that's the only way I could get to know a little bit about the city where he lives. Thank you so much for this chance! By the way, it's a beautiful city. I liked your video, and I already subscribed to your channel. I'll keep an eye out for new videos you post to get to know a little of your beautiful country. I'm Brazilian and a fan of the United States.
I was hoping to see more of Kingston, New York. I follow a futurist named Gerald Celente who lives in Kingston and have wondered what he likes about Kingston. I wished to have seen more of Kingston but your charm was compensatory. Sorry if name icon comes up 2x. Some sort of computer glitch we don't know how to fix.
Kingston, Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Utica, Rochester, and Buffalo...all streets in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and upstate cities. Maybe a video next time you are in Brooklyn showing the streets. I think it was a shipping route along the Great Lakes via the Erie Canal.
Nice video but you missed the best parts about up here lol, hmu next video yall doing and we can do a real tour of the Hudson valley and how we live, keep it authentic. Stay blessed yall 🙏
@@TheCityandBeyond you missed the real soul food places, yall aint hit the woods to camp or fish, no atvs or hit the mountains to ski or tube, yall didnt ride jetskis on the hudson ect..we take full advantage of the land up here lol
Okay. We're not really into everything you listed. The soul food spots would be nice. We've more so done some hiking there rather than camping. I'll write some of these down though. Thanks for spotlighting these.
OMG You guys went back?!?! You guys are going to wind up settling down there if you aren't careful. SHIMBER ME TIMBERS!! The BOATS! Hha. I had a crazy night on the double-decker boat and wound up saving a man from drowning one night!! Haha He fell off the top deck!!! it was SO CRAZY! Kingston is Unforgetable. Enjoy! 😀😃😄😅☺️😇
We LOVE Buffalo that was our first big NY roadtrip together, because wanted real buffalo wings. It awesome city for sure! Any recommendations outside of the Anchor Bar for when we inevitably return?
@@TheCityandBeyond Man.. so many options. I would definitely recommend La Nova, Bar Bill, Picassos and Macy's Pizza just to name a few lol. We really enjoy your channel and will begin making our way through your videos today! :-)

Wow that Chinese restaurant has some tenure
It really does! And for good reason. Freshest chinese food we've ever had. Probably helps to be near farms.
Been eating Eng”s food all my life! Super nice family

That boat ride looks awesome! Great views of the lighthouses
It was so peaceful and beautiful day! We really lucked out. Reminded us a little of our Maine boat ride.
I’m so glad you liked your trip, I have lived in Kingston my whole life and l plan on staying. Also Engs and Boices are delicious!!! 😋
Putting it on the list!

Yes! Small towns are really key right now. You wanna be away but not around many people.
That restaurant is called Engs. It's been around forever.
“No, not THAT Kingston” 😂
What's funny is Kamau's mom just came back fun Jamaica. Haha
I've been to WoodStock for a Reggae Concept. Burning Spear. It's the cleanest air in the world up there. Maybe it had just rained but I never felt air that clean before. Must be Healthy. Lovely Video!!
Kingston is great we just toured on a day trip. We need to spend more time. Enjoy Kingston, Rhinebeck, Beacon, New Paltz and Woodstock.
It's really good for a day trip. That whole area is.
I know not as good as my oxtails. Right Kamau? Though it looks delicious. I love watching your vlogs. Selena your skin 👀 🙌🏽💕

Awesome you guys were part of that Podcast
It was so much fun but we thought our crappy wifi was going to ruin everything. The pressure was on lol.
Nice weekend!!
Thank you!
Great to know all the other towns around Kingston!
Hudson valley and the pike and wayne county in PA have a lot of cute towns.

I've always wondered why they had those names. I'll look more into it. That would make a lot of sense. Good idea. Thanks!
Loved this video. Do have any other towns that you reccomend in the Hudson valley?
Port Jervis, Woodstock, and Pawling

You two are adorable and this is extremely good content

The next time you go to Kingston, be sure to get a cup of coffee at Monkey Joe's on Broadway in Midtown. You won't be disappointed!!
Will do!
You guys are funny😂 and fun 🎉
Thank you Olivia!
Oh yeah almost forgot to mention I'm from Buffalo lol

Wow my name is Selina too and I live in Kingston!
Lol Oh wow!

Wow. Enjoying this. How do I get a discount for air bnb

You better specify which Kingston up front 😆😆
Lol right??
Did you have to skip past the jamaican food so fast?? You could've lingered on that plate just a little more 😆😆😆
Lol we thought about it too! Was very proud of the oxtail footage.
Is it another historic city in the series from New York States
Didn't make a series but we're hoping to
Top Taste is a great place.
Can't wait to go back
I live here.
I also recommend saugerties, new paltz and Woodstock.
We've been to Woodstock (made a video) and passed through Saugerties.
You better specify which Kingston up front 😆😆
Lol that's what I'm saying! -SE
