I am preparing for the AWS Developer Associate certification, I want to build some projects while learning this course. I searched for AWS projects that are related to Developer role but to be honest I got totally confused what to pick up that will help me with this Developer role and what to ignore. Will you please suggest me or provide me some project ideas and some cool projects related to my role.
Thanks for reaching out! Preparing for the AWS Developer Associate certification is a great step in advancing your skills. It's fantastic that you're looking to build projects while you learn-hands-on practice is invaluable. Here are some project ideas that are closely related to the Developer role and will help you gain practical experience: 1. Serverless Web Application: - Technologies: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Cognito. - Description: Build a fully serverless web app where users can sign up, log in, and perform CRUD operations on data stored in DynamoDB. 2. Microservices with AWS Elastic Beanstalk: - Technologies: Elastic Beanstalk, Docker, RDS, and SNS. - Description: Develop a microservices-based application using Docker containers. Deploy the microservices on Elastic Beanstalk and use RDS for the database layer. 3. CI/CD Pipeline with AWS CodePipeline: - Technologies: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodeCommit. - Description: Set up a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for a sample application. Automate the build, test, and deployment processes using AWS services. These projects not only cover a wide range of AWS services but also reflect real-world applications you might encounter as a developer. Each project will help you understand different aspects of AWS and how they fit together in a practical scenario. Good luck with your certification and your projects! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance.
I am planning to take a course in Udemy on developer associate exam, Stephan maarek course I seem more interested in, but I don't know how practical it is, Could you suggest me on this?
Tx your video was really informative. From where should I study or take courses for this exam preparation? Can I pass it in 2-3 months? Currently I'm a Software Developer.
I am glad you found this video helpful. If you cover all the resources that I mentioned in this video, you can easily pass the exam. 2-3 months is definitely an ideal preparation time for this cert. Good luck!

Thanks for the video. One question please: Why the recommended official Study guide is DVA-C01 when the certificate is DVA-C02? Thanks.
AWS introduced us with DVA-CO2 on February 27, 2023. Before that the exam code was DVA-CO1. Please follow the new study guide (DVA-CO2). Good luck!
