There’s something about the lyrics it’s like it’s meant to throw you off with the weird way of structuring the sentences every now and then. It makes you so sure that this word is meant to be her only for him to switch the flow halfway into the sentence just so he can use another amount of syllables in a different word and still keep up with the beat. It’s honestly genius since he’s basically challenging us to get it right the entire song, almost mocking us that we can’t get it. Forcing us to rewatch and relisten to see if we’ll finally get it.
Most underrated group ever 😭😭. I honestly feel like I’m the only Nigerian who knows about them cuz when I mention any of their songs everyone’s just confused.
If you pay attention to the people that are surrounding AJR, you can see how they are growing up, from students with animal masks (being young and having fun and be wild) To doctors (persuing their carreers and degrees) to the idea of having a partner (being naked lmao) and being aware of whats going on in their country (sailors = navy) and then being old, the pink hair girl now has a red tint, which is more mature. The bois are growing up
i mean the lyrics sounds like it was about growing up ngl and the title named Bang probably it's something about shooting yourself? "Thank you for coming for coming,i hope you like the show guz its on a budget" It seems what it means is the 'show' is 'life' and yeah you get the point My theory is this song is about growing up. And yeah your theory might be true
I just love that all of the actors in this video look like they’re from different time periods and they all look like they’re dressed for different events in their first/last set of outfits which best show where they’re actually from

But are they *reaallly* "pop"? I feel like they're more like synth-alt-indie atleast on the OKO album. Just ny opinion though haha. AJR is my favorite band and they've surprisingly been around since 2005 doing covers and stuff and I thought that was really cool aswell.
Yo_ Yo Idk man I really like the band but I think just all of Living Room was a shitshow. Like, none of it works. They got waaay better after The Click imo.

Justin Belmonte sameeeeee
The lyrics to AJR's music are very impressive. They're honest and raw. I love that they're not afraid to sing about anything. They're not the ones to sing typical love and heartbreak songs. (Not that I don't like those kinds of songs, cause I do.) But, thank you, guys, for your music. Please, never change the way your lyrics are. They're relatable and your music is my go-to when I am feeling down.
Have you listened to living room? Those were dark times.
Jon Osterman No, I've never heard of Living Room. I'll have to look into that.
@@Hannah-io9jb they have love songs in there. i love how they can be both though. like one second they're singing about girls and parties, and the other second they're like DEaR wInTeR I hOpE yoU LikE YouR NAmE
Юлия Фанючина Sounds good, I'll definitely have to give it a listen. I've heard most of their albums. I guess I just haven't listened to Living Room cause it hasn't popped up in my feed or anything.

Thats my dad😭😂👍
every 13 seconds they say bang I counted I think I am right
AJR: "Pretend you know this song everybody!"
Me: I have been for all the hundred times I listen to it. Still cant get it right.
Forcing us to rewatch and relisten to see if we’ll finally get it.
my friend told me to listen tp it and its been stuck in my head for so long now
I got it down and memorized within the first 8 times of listening. I'm not sure why people have a hard time memorizing lyrics...
Bang bang bang ‼ ‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼
why is the "here we go" and "metronome" my favorite part?XD

Director: How many costumes do you wants
AJR: Yes
Every music video has one of these
Director: so what would you like in your video?
AJR: Yes
I did one too about the expensive stuff
1:04 How many costumes do you want
ajr: no
yes
Indeed
If you pay attention to the people that are surrounding AJR, you can see how they are growing up, from students with animal masks (being young and having fun and be wild)
To doctors (persuing their carreers and degrees) to the idea of having a partner (being naked lmao) and being aware of whats going on in their country (sailors = navy) and then being old, the pink hair girl now has a red tint, which is more mature.
The bois are growing up
I watched the whole video again to realize this theory 😂
Oooh cool theory
omg i seeeee it!!!! WhY AJR??!!!
i mean the lyrics sounds like it was about growing up ngl
and the title named Bang probably it's something about shooting yourself?
"Thank you for coming for coming,i hope you like the show guz its on a budget"
It seems what it means is the 'show' is 'life' and yeah you get the point
My theory is this song is about growing up.
And yeah your theory might be true
I agree because there's a line that says "I'm thinking it's time to grow" time comes on 0:31

I just love that all of the actors in this video look like they’re from different time periods
and they all look like they’re dressed for different events in their first/last set of outfits which best show where they’re actually from

The 'here we go' has to be the best choice a "pop" band has ever made
