Since the weather has been all over the place this season, I wouldn't mind a weekly garden tour :)
It's beautiful as you are Sweet Laura, morning, beautiful soul. Have a great day. God bless. Wanda In Ok
Yes, she could easily show us what’s blooming along with her project of the day.
Agreed!
I agree! I like short more frequent garden tours just highlighting what's especially looking good and any failures.
Completely agree. Waiting for the parents house garden tour too ❤
Russell in each video is just the cherry on top! Love seeing him walk around in the gardens just enjoying life 😍💚💕
LOL Laura was walking to fast for him to keep up.
I just love Laura’s excitement! I bet Aaron can hardly keep up with her cruising through the garden. Love it!
lol....I was thinking the same
Laura your videos could never be too long. They’re far too short for my liking. I want a full half hour 40 mins daily lol. Seriously don’t be concerned about videos being too long. They’re always soo informative and truly inspiring
Ahhh, the tulips!!! And the winding grass paths.😌 Now that your property has expanded, I would love to see drone views at the end of the tours, just to put the pieces together. Your team’s hard work is surely on display!👏🏼💚
I agree, Aaron...more drone footage please 😊
I agree with you about that, Aaron, should love that, it's a man' s thing. We'd get to see all the beautiful flowers.
Agree - drone shot, please!!!
Laura I could watch a 2 hr video with no problem!! Actually I could watch your videos all day❤️❤️
Ditto
Hey Aaron. Just wanted to thank you for the spectacular camera work. I noticed the care you took to compose the different frames and long views along with the great focused close ups. Makes it an extra pleasure to watch.
Facts! Aaron is the best husband business partner ever!!
Aaron does do an amazing job
☕️Good morning to all. A tour of your garden spaces is a great way to begin the day, Laura, and I always hate to see them end. So much beauty, from tulips to trees. And the Hartley is stunning! Thank you for this early morning delight. Happy gardening everyone 👏🏻🌷🌸💚
You do such good tours. I'd love to have more mini tours where you literally go plant by plant in an area and talk about the thought process behind the design of that particular area, when things bloom, what gives structure, etc.
Love your excitement. To hear the energy in your voice. Your spring has held all of us back from spring projects. Delayed gratification for all of us when projects finally come together!
That was amazing. Got my eye on the tiny dancer and those big damson /purple tulips, wow. You must feel a lot of pride in what you've done over the last two years it's incredible and what a fantastic walking path you've made for a stroll round.
Oh my goodness, your Tulip show is glorious 👍
I love your enthusiasm as you are sharing with us. It never seems to wane ❤
After I watch...I start making my To Do list! Thanks for the Kick in the Plants 😉🌸😉
Happy Gardening Everyone 👩🌾 👍 💓
❤Peggy❤
I’m not even close to being an artist yet over time I’ve had the opportunity to do many creative things. But nothing has given me the deep sense of satisfaction that creating beauty in my yard does. I look at it and think “I did that!” You’ve been a huge inspiration, palette walkway, choice of plants, placement of colors, swoops, and more. You’ve been a gift in my life. Thank you!
I'm sure everyone agrees that garden tours are the BEST!!!😊😊🌷🌷💜🌸👏👍🌻
Laura your vision is coming to light and it’s beautiful. So much joy it will give to you and your family. So happy for you.
Oh my word! The level of lush spring color and new blooms! This tour just hit different for me. So beyond inspiring! I cannot believe the level of spring color, the structure with the evergreens. So beautiful, I want it all on my .4 acre...Great work to the GA team!
Watching this as I am recovering from breast cancer surgery today. These videos are good for my soul. Praise God and thank you for being such a great UA-camr that inspire so many to garden. You deserve all your subscribers. I recommend you to many. I now own way to many cement urn planters because I’ve always admired yours and all the garden art, but there’s no such thing as too many. Lol.
Johan Cruijff, (1947-2016) tulip) was a very famous Dutch football player. Pronunciation: Yow Han Kroyf
Greetings from the Netherlands😊
How in the world Laura remembers all the plant names and when they were planted!👏👏
Thank you for being authentic and balancing the beauty and reality of your gardens. That is why I love your channel and look forward to spending time with you every morning. ❤
Laura & Aaron, you have so much to be proud of. What beauty surrounds you and all the work you put in. Thanks so much for being UA-cam stars. Everything is delightful! And Russell is a sweet furry guy.
Bless you Aaron! I was exhausted watching Laura buzz from one spot to another. Love how she loves her garden! I can't imagine life without your enthusiasm. Such an inspiration! Thanks for the second tour! Kudos Aaron on the grass, beautiful!
We gotta call the big bed in front of the house the hollyhock bed and plan the entire space around the world's most resilient plant
😂 Good idea!!
Laura is the most encouraging gardening human on UA-cam 🎉❤
I agree!
Laura, you remind me of our hummingbirds checking for new opening blossoms everyday! [zip - zip - zip - zip!] And I gotta say, as much as I enjoyed the trip to Mackinac Island you took us on, your property tops that. I'm surprised you don't find people thinking it's a park and wandering all around picking your flowers and trying to picnic on your lawns...
I love seeing these updates! You’ve been saying you’d do this for a few years to show all of the bulbs in bloom, and I’m really glad you’re doing it. I’m sure you may have been worried about keeping a certain variety on your videos, but you know we’ll watch you do pretty much anything in the garden 😄
It doesn’t matter to me what color the tulips are, they are all beautiful. It must be breath taking to just stand in the garden and look in any direction. What a marvelous time of year.
Good morning Laura, have a nice day, preaching in the beautiful flower garden and fragrant flowers, God bless you.
Everything looks gorgeous! I love seeing the changes.
I am so glad I found your channel....my grandmother and mother were necessary gardeners to feed their families, but always made time to grow flowers to make the old Okie homestead welcoming....my mom had five acreas of flower beds full of Grandma's perennials..as Mom got older she was down to two beds near the house....now that she has passed away, I'm determined to care and nurture those two beds...your channel reminded me flower beds are more than a group of flowers, they are memories of childhood, a mother's hard work, and love.
Exquisite!!!! The bulbs are glorious!!!! The colours!!! And those flowering trees are yummy! Thoroughly enjoyed this bonus May garden tour.
2:14 looks like a burkwoodii or korean spice, probably korean because it smells stronger! I wish it bloomed much longer. We appreciate this tour Laura!!
Morning Everyone 🍃🌺🍃
Eye candy galore! I also see that Russell almost missed his cameo, but he caught up to you. What a diva!
wow, what a difference a few days (and warm weather) makes!!! i love how excited Laura is at everything! 🤩 and poor Russell... he's doing his best to keep up so if and when Laura stops for a minute, he can get a good petting... quite a show of color, especially on a cloudy day!! love it! 🥰❤ thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
I think Russell rushed in like; sorry I’m late, my Mickey Mouse alarm clock dudnt go off , but I’m here now so we can start!
@@judyheim6998 you're right! he did, hahaha... all he needed was a cuppa coffee in the to-go cup 🤣
OMG, that lawn!!! What a gorgeous backdrop for all your beautiful flowers. Laura, you and Aaron have the magic touch and foresight for this beautiful design and Paul & Bethany help you make your vision come to life ❤
Got interrupted while watching this the day it posted and have come back now this Saturday to finish watching. THANK YOU for the frequent update tours! Your gardens, your family, and your attitude are all so very inspiring for us "wanna be" gardeners. Please continue!
I just can't express how much I enjoyed this tulip/flowering trees tour. The Hartley tulips are beyond magnificent. Kudos to Laura for catching the color demarcation in the brick patio. Russell parading around as co-tour guide was delightful.
You are building a World Heritage Garden ❤️, at least in my eyes. So Beautiful, everything you do brings glory to God. Thank you for your tedious work and sharing with us.
Although I live in Montreal, our zone 5 gardens are surprisingly similar to yours. Our daffodils and tulips are in bloom as well as crabapple trees. Our temperatures however here in mid May are in the 50s at night and the 60s and just starting to creep into the 70s during the day. The plants that you recommend and that grow in your alkaline gardens are the same as those that do well here. However, your growing season is quite a bit longer and our winters more harsh. So, I love to see what you plant, how the plants thrive and learn from all your tips and tricks to have success in my garden. Thank you, Laura!
It would be beautiful making a dedicated tulip garden on the new property just for cutting. That way you don’t feel bad about cutting them out of flower beads.
What a Wonderful way to be surprised on an early Hawaiian morning when my insomnia is acting up. Such a Wonderous profusion of Spring Blooms. I really enjoyed the tour and Russell showed up also. 🌷🌳🐱😍💝
Agree with you on brick patio guys! I am surprised they didn’t see it sooner. Everything else looking fabulous! Thankyou for the tour and close ups. You always go that extra mile for us.👏👏👏👏
Agree on the bricks. My husband works with masonary and brick pavers and always says when laying a patio down you have to take a few pavers from each pallet because each pallet are different colors. Looks beautiful though Laura. When they mix it up a few, you won’t even notice.
I love the way your little kitty cat follows you around. Perfect.
GORGEOUS!! There's nothing like the Month of May! Here in MI, our ornamental trees & shrubs are show-stopping stunners right now!!! The Promise of Spring gets us through every winter. Out into the garden I go ~~~ 😍
Good morning, Laura ☕️ I would like a tour ever day 😜 I bet every day something new is blooming! Looks gorgeous 😍 Have a Blessed Day😊🐈
I get the biggest kick out of your giddiness of all the blooms. It's like a little kid on Xmas morning
Laura reminds me of her children all over the place trying to make sure we see all of the beauty popping up. Aaron you look like you lost her there for a minute. Thank you guys for everything that you share with us. Can't wait to see the next video today what a treat 💐🌷🌹🤗🌹🌷💐
Absolutely beautiful! What a piece of heaven on earth.
Laura your property is simply breathtaking! Y'all need to start using it as a wedding venue!
It's a morning workout for Aaron to keep up w you lol Your garden is beautiful.
My favorite part of your videos is when you are petting your kitty. It's so automatic. He just rubs up against you and without even thinking you just start petting him. And of course, your beautiful children and your mom and your sister are amazing. And then I love it how your husband chases you with the camera. Where do you all get your energy?
There's so much beauty in this video that it's almost painful to take in!! 😅 The blooming trees are just amazing! The whole thing gives me goose bumps!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Right from the start of the tour I’m in awe. The lilacs and tulips! Redbud and viburnum… and THE STONE! Wow stunning. The changes are growing coming together. Ahhhhh love the Tulips 🌷 everywhere. So worth that awful fall bulb planting task. 😂👍
Oh no 😮 another inspirational garden tour of all the fabulous flowering plants! Keep them coming, we’ll let you know when we’ve had enough…never! Seeing your gardens from the townhouse till the “New” new garden has been a privilege and a blessing. Thank you…S. Jersey Shore Gardener 🪴
So happy to see all the bulbs! You’ve done so much planting, it’s lovely to see the rewards of your work. The yellows look amazing dropped in.
Hi Laura and Aaron! I really appreciate that you are showing more of the spring bulbs in bloom, especially since we got to see hardly any last year. They are all so pretty! Thank you so much for sharing!
So thankful you pointed out the buddleia died back and is growing from bottom! I thought I did something wrong as mine were planted just last year (2 Pugster Blue) and only have growth at the bottom. This is a prime example why I love to watch your videos daily - learn so much. Thank you!
Laura! It was hard to keep up with you, today! I love how you appreciate your garden. Your enthusiasm is quite contagious!
Aaron i need a lawn tour with deone footage again. The edging is looking great
Amazing, and a double dose of GA is always a great treat ❤
I also want to say I love hearing your inner thoughts about how your garden is coming along. It also is refreshing to see that even you have random dead plants in the garden lol it makes me feel a bit better
So happy to see the tulips and bulbs that we watched you plant out in all their glorious colours! Same with some of the perennial plants and trees! Everything is coming along nicely! ❤
The gardens are so beautiful! I love the way Cheddar/Russell follows you everywhere, that poor kitty just needs some attention 🤣😂! It's finally getting warm enough to start doing some planting here in our area!
Thanks so much! I watched you plant thousands of bulbs and it is so exciting to see the beautiful results! The quick change in the south lawn area is like magic. Just amazing!!
Your gardens are all so very beautiful. And your videos could never be too long. We enjoy them so much! They inspire us all.
What a nice surprise video number 2. Everything looks lovely 😊 thank you for all your hard work bringing so much happiness in a needing world.
16:30 Purple peony double late tulip.
Also gave you the white danceline double late tulip with pink details and one named foxy foxtrot double early tulip.
I am soo happy you got to enjoy these flowering gifts. Your channel is a beakon of light to each of my days. 😊❤💐🌷
It's funny you mentioned your butterfly bushes. Mine and my neighbor's look dead as well. I'm hoping there is still life in them.
Hi Laura
I’m wondering if your neighbor that you bought the South Garden from ever compliments you and Aaron on just how beautiful the space is turning out. It truly is a marvel.
How many times can you say. Oh wow.. oh wow... oh wow...... look at all this color. And look at that lilac. Tulips to die for. In mid May..... take a deep breath and enjoy you two. Thank you.
Lots of opportunity for more lilacs 😄 love the way Laura thinks. Glad to see the south garden taking shape. Very inspiring. Spring has officially sprung.... just in time for Summer 😂 c'est la vie
Wow, everything is stunning!!
The bell shaped flowers are pronounced lew-KOH-jum.
Aren’t they sweet! I just love them.
Wow! Lovin all the fabulous color and all the different types of plants are amazing. Well done Laura. Love seeing Russell bright orange color up against the white flowers. He is such a ham but he really does make me smile when you film your videos. Russell is my internet pal who never has to do anything but just be Russell. Hey thank you guys for sharing your family, home, and side jobs with us. Many blessings to all of you
Oh, Laura, just pinch yourself, will ya?❤❤❤ thank you for sharing your beautiful gardens with us dreaming for a pot just like that. I so appreciate your hard work and your up beat enthusiasm ❤❤❤
I am so inspired by you, Laura! You express so much appreciation for beautiful vistas and everything thats in bloom. Thank you for sharing your garden in such a blissful and exuberant way. ❤
So happy you mentioned about the buddleia. I planted my first one last year and thought I lost it but still saw some green at base too. Now it’s given me hope that it may come back and survive. Yay! Loved that plant.
The same thing happened with my blackberries. They’re alive! I heard the leaves dehydrated for tea are more nutritious than the berries!
Thank you for the extra tour. Your yard is just beautiful. And next year the roses might be in bloom.....Laura it is so exciting to see what you had imagined! Beautiful.
On Tues, I could not find Agastache seeds or plants for sale anywhere, as I know how good they are for hungry bees, and are slug and snail resistant. Good to know that you planted some too.
I like the way the tulips were planted two years ago-I like that they are planted tighter together, in clusters. It all looks beautiful.
They have returned in those clusters, which is why she mentioned that they may be naturalizing.
I picked some 'Gravetye Giant' Leocojum up on sale last winter, they are p rettyexpensive here compared to most other bulbs. They are doing so well.. I might have to spend some to get a few more.
And yes, they are deer and rabbit proof - because they are *very* poisonous to them (and us, of course).
Thank you for the information of Leucojum being poisonous to deer. I wonder if that applies to squirrels? They dig up tulips, would love to plant snowdrops, but would hate losing them!
@@melodykaufer5696 It's the same poison as in daffodils, so if your pests leave those alone, the snowflakes will be fine too.
I love short tours highlighting “what’s in bloom.”
My mantra for my garden, is perfectly imperfect!
Stunning! All the hard work shows. You excitement is contagious. This display makes it all worth it. Laura God has blessed you .
I enjoy the mini tours in between the big tours. Two videos in one day, what a treat!!! 🥰
Garden tours are ALWAYS welcome. You could do those all year, and I would be happy.
Damn girl…I haven’t watched as faithfully in the past year due to losing our oldest son last October and I am just amazed at how you’ve turned that huge field into this beautifully evolving groupings of garden spaces. Just lovely…it’s the stuff of dreams for those of us gardening on less than 1/4 acre. If I was 20 years younger…
In case anyone else was struggling to find the spelling for the tall 'snow drop' type flowers - it's Leucojum. Gorgeous! So glad to know bout them.
Thank you! I googled so many spellings and couldn’t find it.
Everything is looking so beautiful! Excellent burst of beauty from the tulips. I love it! Great job Laura! Your handiwork in that garden is inspiring!
Yay! Love garden tour season. I'll be doing one here soon!
Spring comes to your area so fast. One day snow, next….voila! Beautiful color.
Enjoyed another garden tour of the beautiful tulips and flowering trees! Everything including the lawns, and walkways are perfect! Springtime is such a joyful season!
Weather changes things so quickly that you need another tour! Certainly looks different than last week!
The Hartley area!!!
Oh my!
It’s really coming together!!
Bravo!
You must either have a ton of energy or a lot of help with all of the upkeep around there! It is all SO beautiful!!
like idea of south garden as relaxation station after garden work day
-toilet with outdoor shower stalls, like parks + recreation
keep a change of linen/ cotton
or cotton/ hemp clothes, really helps keep sweat off you.
Textile hemp is oldest textile ever found and stores carbon. Think first us flag made of industrial hemp...
love having bulbs becoming naturalized...so wild endearing
I just love the comment section on this channel. Everyone is so nice. ❤️
You should do a drone look at the progress on your patios. Also seeing all those flowering bulbs and spring flowering bushes and trees would be beautiful.
Good morning Laura and Aaron! Aaron, j feel like you must get your workout keeping up with Laura as she races from plant to plant. That girl can move! The tour was great, and to hear we are also getting a planting video ...wow! Hugs from N.C..❤️
The mix of blushing lady tulips at the heartley… you are a genius! So pretty!!
