I always try and leave myself around 40-50% battery for the downhill, incase I run into a some uphill stretches.. plus the board has nosedived at low percentage a couple times which has made me a little gun shy when it comes to really running my battery down. Still, this looks like a lot of fun, the onewheel is so awesome as a motivator to explore. Float on!
Sick ride bro, love that trail, am amazed how you managed to stay in that 10% zone for that long, some skills to manage that and still make it back, yew 🤙
Rewatching your vids is a garanty for motivation to go out even if I am tired af. Gonna grab my trusty Gopro1, OTG-charger, a book and a cooffe, climb a hill, reload ontop while reading a book and then find a trail I do not know. I dont get why you dont use a external battery to recharge before going back down. The board behaves so much better when fully charged. My Pack weights only 2Kg, has a full recharge and fits nicely in my backpack.
Getting great comments like this motivates me to do the same. I don’t bring any external batteries because I don’t like the extra weight of a backpack. The only things I carry is a few tools and my camera to keep it light. I have a CBXR and that gives me enough range and preforms we’ll even at low battery.
@@westcoast.landpirate3788 I was thinking about getting a CBXR before, but I have a new model that does not work with the CBXR without JWST-chip and it is too much of a risk bricking my board since its my only transport at the moment. When my original battery dies, I think I get one. Also it is way more expensive then my charger-setup. I am a 55Kg person, so I like to keep my board as light as possible since most of the times I dont need that extra range. I am also used to having my Backpack on me from my skiing-years which are mainly over because I am old and my knees are sore af. Thanks to my OW I can still go out and shred a bit. 👍💪🤘
hey bro, how much actual regen to the boards get going down hill. Your the only person I see killing a battery going up for 45min and then ride that amount of time of a full charge. How much does it actually charge. I have been curious about that
This is epic man! Havent been able to ride mine on the trails in a while because its been raining. Keep it up
Same here actually. Rain season is in full swing

Exploring is the most fun I have. It's Countless the amount of times I have just got back to my car at 1%.
That was suspenseful lol. Gnarly trails... and riverbed. Looks fun.
You never know what the adventure holds
I always audibly go "yesss" when I see an upload from you hahahaha
Glad you enjoy the videos 🤟

This was so awesome! I would have ate dirt like ten times lol
You gotta come to Bellingham this summer!!
We can ride the crap out of Galbraith on our GT🤙🏽😎
Would definitely love to. Unfortunately to get a GT in Canada it's about 3500$ so I will not be riding one 😢
@@westcoast.landpirate3788 hey well always welcome here and can test ride all day!! 🤙🏽
Love these videos!
Glad to hear it. Love putting them together

Sick trail! How far did you go?
No idea lol. Took me a few hours

As long as you are just going down hill it’s pretty good you will not use any and if it’s real steep you can gain it all back
How was the regen braking?
Pretty good actually. I ride up a lot of mountains and shr3d down with very little battery and always make it
is it true that they charge going down hill? if so is it even enough to help?
They do and it totally does help. I had no juice left and was able to ride downhill for over an hour without losing any
So, was your board recharging on the way down the trail? It seems like it should have been and your battery should have been somewhat revamped?
A little bit for sure. I used 80% to get up the mountain and only 15 to get back down.
@@westcoast.landpirate3788 So where was it at when you got your car?
@@freejack6889 pretty much fully drained
This is what I want the GT for, although carrying a 35 lbs board will suck even more.
Definitely stoked to get some GTs out in the real world and see what people think
@@westcoast.landpirate3788 Ditto!
Bro, I will donate to a GT fund if anyone has started one for ya.
