The primary lesson we can draw from Joshua's life is that God is faithful to His promises. According to the book of Numbers, Joshua was Moses's assistant. He was born a Hebrew slave in Egypt; one of the children of Israel and one of the 12 spies of Israel, sent by Moses, to explore the land of Canaan (The Promised Land). Joshua was regarded as a faithful, humble, and wise man. In spite of his circumstances, Joshua continued to put his trust in God and in His promises.
