GT350 will become a collector car. But buying one now means no warranty. The GT500 is a beast and a true sports car. The Dark Horse has potential and the bonus of a warranty. Sadly, I think the Dark Horse is a bit expensive. Do have to give Ford credit for staying in the N/A V-8 game.

Add the whipple and your at $85k? At that point your in GT500 price point, and I prefer the 5.2 supercharged vs the 5.0 whipple

It’s not as bad on the dark horse and premiums but it is horrible on the base models. Literally just two square screens. Wish they would have built a housing around them.

After that I went and bought another Terminator which I had before the 350. The Cobra's have so much power on tap w/ out having to hunt through the RPM range
GT350 with a Procharger D-1X blower, 95MM Pulley, Fore triple pump fuel system, all day over a 2024 Darkhorse and a whipple. GT350 would make 850+ and unbeatable from a roll with the lower torque head unit. It would pulled to 8400 rpm.

The Dark Horse beats the GT 500 on the track. Check the times at all the tracks and the DH beats the GT-500, the Mach I & the GT-350 & all Camaros!!! The DH & GT-350R are very close on the track. By adding the Whipple SC now it is not even close!!!! I have the data on 14 tracks within the eastern United States and the Dark Horse 🐎 is for real. I am getting one based on the recorded performance. The Ford engineers made improvements on over >113 areas over the S550 for the results of the S650. The drift brake allows you to dial up the response of the handle when using it to do drifting. You adjust it on the center screen. It wasn’t an afterthought effort by Ford. They brought in Vaughn Gettin Jr. & his championship RTR team to actually develop a proper drift brake system. It matches their race cars exactly!!! A friend of mine owns a DH, he reduced his weight to 3640 which is lighter than my C8 Z51 which weighs 3667 pounds. I have 3 days of track time on my neighbor’s Dark Horse 🐎. The Perrelli Trofeo RS tires out-perform the Michelin Cup IIR tires and last 4-6 more laps on the tract also. The best part of the car is the brakes. Car & Driver magazine reported back in May that the Dark Horse 🐎 is the best braking car that the magazine has ever tested in 40+ years of existence. It is the newly designed Ford brake by wire response system that produces the impressive performance. They actually threw out the GT-500 brake rotors and were able to go smaller in size saving weight and still out brake the GT-500. Do your research and you will find that Ford really put in the time & effort designing the Dark Horse 🐎!!!!

The Dark Horse has different cam tune and GT 500 connecting rods. So yes it is boost friendly.
I push the star button to get my DH on track exhaust. I don’t wait for the pony button to come up , sometimes it takes too long . Nice video

I’m not enthusiastic mostly because Ford locked them down to prevent tuning. Seeing it get finicky from being on the dyno doesn’t help either.
