Wow, this is how metalcore should be done. Superb. And as a bassist, being able to hear the bass in the whole song is very rare in metalcore!. Excellent.

You wouldn't be complaining about that bass if you have heard them live. FFAK is one of the best bands to come out for a while in this genre in my opinion. And made one of the best albums this year.

NO NO NO! I love the bass in this song. This CD is one of the only where I hear and enjoy the bass thoroughly! I will cry if the bass isn't as badass on your next CD as it is on this one! The bass on this is the whole reason I love blasting this song around town!
I normally dont listen to metal this heavy without any clean vocals. but this song is epic! Would love to see these guys in concert!

I actually like the way the bass is mixed,usually can't make out the bass at all,in this you can make out everything and the bass being the loudest makes it have an intresting punch to it.

Personally, I agree with you sir. This was my friend who posted this comment and didn't realize I was still signed into youtube. I'm more of a metalcore guy myself. Only deathcore I really get into is like Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya.

The bass is admittedly very loud in this recording, but the quality of this video seems to make it even louder. It's not as bad on record, trust! Tbf their new album's mix is perfect in every way!
The bass is not a problem. It does make a difference between others and sounds good. I remember Korn and Primus having heavy bass guitar as well. Also Face To Face. Congrats on the Solid State signing.
