I've listened to old time radio shows since the late 70s on various radio stations. Out of all the old timey detectives, Bob Bailey as Johnny Dollar is my favorite.
Rain in the sugar bowl was a plot from another show. I listen to: Tales of the Texas Rangers, Superman, Casey crime scene photographer and Johnny Dollar. This would lend creditability to the theory that this episode was hastily done. (And also tells me I need to donate, because I enjoy to much of your content not to.)
Good story. I prefer the longer serials though. For a show that's supposed to be based around the expense account it's weird he charged them $25 for the car rental and nothing for the gas.
So DONT LISTEN!! THATS the was it was in the 1950s you Gen X,Y,Z people have No Idea what WOMEN OF YOUR GRANDMOTHERS ERA went thru so you can use BIG OPINION WORDS LIKE " MIS OGYENIST" AND Bitch about things you know nothing about.and Never WILL. What a closed minded , egotistical Most likely Spoiled Brat. Pray YOU never have to go thru what the Women of the 1950s went thru so YOU can complain about radio shows of that period. Aren't you Soooo SPECIAL!!! 👎
This story has multiple holes. How did wesley get to cooper s cabin in the pouring rain he didn t walk the six miles. So he took his car to cooper s How did cooper get the car back to wesley s not drive the body back in wesley s car or there d be blood in it from the headshot and leaving the car and wesley s body there did he walk back to his cabin for an hour and a half in the dark. No whichever car he moved the body in would have plenty of blood in it If cooper shot wesley in the head at his own cabin there d be the blast spray somewhere in the room which would be missing from wesley s room. Also the body once dead would start to develop post mortem lividity lying dead at cooper s for half an hour then show the coroner signs of being moved after death. More holes than the lee harvey oswald fairy tale
So let me get this straight. You'd like me to edit out all of my intros on more than 4,000 videos, delete the videos, lose the history of all the downloads, and re-upload the files over the course of days and week in order to suit your preferences? I might suggest as an alternative that you skip the intro or download the raw files which are available for anyone download on the Internet.
@@procyonbearsfoot4287 it would take two minutes per video, times approximately 3,600 videos equals 7,200 minutes or 120 hours or 15 complete working days or three standard working weeks. I think the alternatives I suggested were more reasonable.
@@GreatDetectivesofOldTimeRadio adam. Don't let haters get you down. I've got you on tune in and UA-cam. Let them start their own channels. No one can keep up with your work ethic

The way they wrote women in the 50s, it's so misogynist . Every woman was written as a shrew, manipulator, or a mother who is "a saint". Sick.

@@GreatDetectivesofOldTimeRadio maybe put a mark on the timeline where the intro ends, they really are annoying
