We do this all the time too. Chicken & seafood is such a rip off right now- after a workout we sometimes grab just enough for that meal. Definitely cheaper than cooking from scratch.
@@bobnewhart4318 yeah I did! The first day was nothing but computer work which was pretty simple just pay attention. I had my second day today very simple just stock boxes and put them on the shelf where they need to be. You got this.
@@bobnewhart4318 the most challenging thing is when customers ask you where in item is, if you aren’t familiar of the store, you have to ask other associates and just learn overtime
Fresh grilled salmon fillet $24.99/lb, much older shredded grilled salmon fillet $8.99/lb. This is how businesses extend the expiration date on certain dishes. Before the four days is up they reprocess it into another dish, in this case shredding it and extending its life another week. Cold stuff 7 days, hot bar 1 day except for soups. The shredded chicken is older rotisserie chicken. Not really a life hack but if your low on cash it’s a good thing to know, I personally wouldn’t risk it
Yeah, that is completely incorrect. Simply shredding the salmon doesn’t add an additional 7 days to it😂 there is no extension to the expiration date at all. They shred it 1-2 days before it expires. I.e the salmon was cooked on the 1st it expires on the 6th they shred it on the 4th day and discard it on the 5th day.
Not a hack. Salad bar price is higher now. I just get a salad for about $6 and move on. I love the salad bar, but the price on their pre-cooked meats is horrible there.
Life hack, don't shop at Wholefoods. Go get a piece of fresh salmon and cook it for about $10 for 2 portions.
you can also do that at whole foods. they sell fresh fish too.

That was deff not $4.22
And if it was, still overpriced. Also a filet, vs chopped salmon are not equivalent
@@hiiipowerbass2337 ok
CAP LIKE A MFER 🧢
Probably more like $422.00
Difference in cut, 2 slabs vs shredded mulch
I have an interview for grocery in 2 days wish me luck. 😂
Did you get in?

Great job 👍
@@BaljetBenchode Congratulations
I don't know what state you live in but in Florida that amount of food at whole foods in the cold or hot foods section would be close to $30 dollars
