Did you use all 6# braid or did you spool on some monofilament backing? If you did do you remember what pound backing and how much you spooled on. Thanks for your help.

I was able to get 70 yards of 10# Maxima Ultra Green backing on and 150 yards of 10# braid at .008". Calibration came out within 1". Thanks again for your help.
I have a daiwa lexa and it spoils off real slow when jigging with 1/2 oz and spool brake all the way backed off, I am assuming it is because of the line counter mechanics. Was wondering if the Diawa accudepth 15 is any faster or any recommendations-as to a line counter casing reel that is faster.

@@tla1950 Hello Tom I’ve had this reel for about two years now. I did finally figure out how to set up and calibrate it. Though I can’t describe it to you you here, as it’s been some time now. I hope you do buy one Tom. I love mine. It’s so handy when vertical jigging in conjunction with using a quality depth sonar. Thanks for your comment.
I can tell that method even compensates for the line diameter. I did not know those reels did that. It is very accurate.

I used some backing. Not sure how much. I would leave enough room for 300 ft or so.
I use 10 lb now.

I cannot get my reel to program!
Everytime I peel off the first 50, I lock the spool and hold the button, but it goes to “Err” mode.
Help!😤
