Matt is just a walking, talking, avatar of joy, isn't he? Especially now that he has announced he's gonna be a daddy! Scott is, too, he's always grinning his face off these days. I'm having a random thought that 20 years from now I will be at a PTX concert and some of their children may have followed in their musical footsteps, and it will become a generational thing where they occasionally bring up one or more of the kids to perform, too. We've already got Kaia and Eliana, now Matt has a child coming in June, and Scott and Mark have said they fully intend to have kids very soon, too, and it sure sounds like something is in the works, there. Yay, Pentababies!
Great reaction! This video was shot for The Kelly Clarkson Show during the pandemic, when they couldn't be at her studio, so they sent this live recorded performance instead. I suggest listening to the studio version as well. it's so good, it has a few amazing Mitch and Kirstie adlibs that were missing from the live version. I also recommend their originals 'Anchor' and 'To The River' (such BOPs!)
This is probably my favorite song of theirs. Is it the most impressive or complex? No. But it really hits me and connects with me. When my anxiety is extra high, it's perfect to put on. Especially Matts part with "I got you" feels like a warm, calming hug or weighted blanket. Kirstins lyrics in this is so spectacular.
I LOVE Matt’s smile. They’re all awesome but Mitch, as always, makes me 🫠❤️ every time he opens his mouth. This song is literally the story of my life. I also love the 5 part harmony at the end. 🥹 Thanks Carmen! I always look forward to Pentatonix Mondays. 🤗💋🥰
This was recorded during COVID. They each recorded their parts separately from their homes and their production team put it together for this broadcast. Pretty cool. They’ve performed this on tour a few times.

Also, Rise(Katy Perry cover) a Superfruit collaboration with Brian Justin Crum, Mario Jose and Mary Lambert. This was a dedication to the LBGTQ+ community.
Keep in mind, dear Carmen, there is a little bit of compression and pitch correction (120mz) Not much, just a little. It helps with the blend, and adding things like reverb. Kirstie wrote this about her husband and some of the troubles she was having. Still praying for you and success expanding your family.
