Not many people know this but what Carlos Queiroz did with Iran's national team was exceptional. Qualified us for two consecutive world cups and kept us in #1 of Asia and developed young talents. We got very unlucky not to reach the knock-out stages in the world cups but he definitely left a legacy with what he built and he's loved by most of us Iranians.

Patrice makes a great point of how United weren't the same tactically after Carlos Queiroz left United. Basically we've been shit against the bigger teams since he left. Losing to Bayern, Barcelona, Madrid in the CL in that time period after he left quite convincingly.
