My husband and I Love this movie was our favorite and we cried a lot when Gerry died and He promised me if that ever happen to us that I would continue my life.Well it did happen 10yrs ago he passed and it has not being easy we were marry for 42 yrs and I can"t seem to find love like his.
I've met mine...no Irish accent, but a sweet Kentucky accent. We met online. I live in Ohio, and he moved here to be with me. Not as outgoing as Gerry, but he's still mine, and just as sweet. Good luck to every girl out there in finding your "Gerry"!!!

I had a "Gerry"...and I made him watch this movie a few weeks before he (unexpectedly) died....So much of it...fits so much of who were were and how we interacted...He didn't "baby" me though...and wasn't always sweet....more like I was a "pain in his 'arse' "...and he often let me know it!...But I know I was the "love of his life"...from the very first....as he always would tell me so...even on that last day we were together...) The kids were leaving for college and he was working out of town...and I told him that i had been a wife and mom for so long, that I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be now...with all of them away from me.... Art had always been my passion...(though not my career...as my dad had told me when I got out of HS, that I'd never make any money from it...but needed to get a job that paid.) After he watched it...he hugged me and looked down at me and told me I needed to do what it said...I'm still waiting for the "buckle" to fall on that shoe...(and still love him...though he's gone...) Anyway...thanks for this video...I used it on my FB post today...(I always need the "mood music"...for my FB posts...and there your video was...like God knew which "music" I needed...)
