The big complaint I have is that it has nothing to do with any anniversary. Also I find it shameful they are celebrating new movies… which most of them were not even good. Instead of celebrating what made Disney magical. It’s like they forgot that it all started with a mouse. Maybe had they done more showing the last rather than the new it would have worked (they could have saved this show for after the 50th anniversary celebration). In a way it feels as though they are not only snubbing the past but ashamed of it/ trying to wipe it clean and act as if the past never happened.
I just really loved Happily ever after. I had so much love for Wishes and I was so attached and I swore I would hate happily ever after but I didn’t realize it was EVERYTHING I needed from their shows. I just don’t feel the same gut reaction and tears of joy I felt in that show and it hurts.
At first when it came out, I had mixed feelings about it. Then it changed when I saw it in person. It’s my first Disney fireworks show in person and it moved me to tears at the Moana part of “Where You Are”. So the show grew on me hehe
Same. I watched the debut stream, then listened to it once more before I saw it. I loved “You Are the Magic” as a song, but Enchantment wasn’t doing it for me. I was genuinely terrified it would be underwhelming. But once I saw it in person, all that doubt was put to rest. To me, the magic of this show is on par with Wishes.
Kinda fun that this was your first Disney fireworks. I was just thinking about that on the drive down last year. I was wondering how many people would be saying that after it retires, and how many people it would enchant (no pun intended).
@John C. Haines They all have nostalgia. I disliked Happily ever after and missed Wishes. Everyone will always want the one they attach to memories. To this day Wishes makes me tear up
I have SUCH mixed feelings about this. I feel like the projections were amazing, but I wasnt feeling the random montages all of the way through, and I wasnt a fan of the musical arrangement at all 😬 but I did feel like the projections were more vibrant and beautiful and I LOVED how Tink looked like she flew up the castle rather than out of it. 😍
Maybe, it'll just take some time getting used to. But I prefer the 'Happily Ever After' soundtrack over the one for 'Enchantment.' I think it's better than 'Harmonious, though. Coming from someone that hasn't been to Disney World since I was five, if all I have access to are youtube videos and the soundtrack, the music better be good!
Omg This is so beautiful and much better quality of the castle illumination it made me cry when I saw Miguel and joe I’m going this Monday for the first time and I can’t wait to see my little one face when she sees all her favorite characters there it’s just beautiful and perfect 🥲💕
Well one of the reasons is since there probably isn't as many people in the parks since covid and a lot of videos I have seen not a lot of people are there and who nows what there after hours rules are now with fireworks back
@@_-.alexiss.-_1404 sadly that’s not the case…. I was there for the opening plus a couple of days later and it was so jam packed with people it was as if we were sardines stuffed inside a tin can. And sadly nobody was impressed, there was a lot of complaints and the few who clapped were just being polite. I swear it was the quietest show I have seen (quiet as in there was no cheering, no crying and very very few claps (the kind of claps you do because you want to be polite)
That is what happens with a not very flowing show. Not at all shocked. Both new shows are for attention deficit people it seems. Nothing but short sound bites crammed together. Not on the level of the past for sure. Are the projections interesting? Sure. One the epic level? Not even close. Maybe with better epic style music. This is not.
I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but happily ever after was a random montage too. Wishes, Fantasmic, Illuminations, or even Fantasy in the Sky was way better in my humble opinion. The fireworks change constantly at MK. That's the good thing. If you don't like the show, change the season you visit. I actually prefer this show to HEA, as it was more realistic in tone, but to each their own. I feel like the music needs a bit of work at times though. I've also been working in person through the pandemic, and the message resonates with me. You need to appreciate who you have in your life while they're here.
Great disrespect to Walt and Mickey....THEY are the reason behind the Disney magic....Not your movie's....they had a huge opportunity to show what Disney is all about, and they chose to show their true colors, money....lame ass Genie pass, should have called it the Mickey pass...at least make the holder feel like your holding something special...sorry folks, the powers that be just killed the magic.
The projection is nice but unfortunately, it was incredibly disappointed and it killed Disney's magic including Walt's vision especially Mickey Mouse. Darn u, Disney greedy people for ruining it. Great vid, 4KWDW.
I was here in person and I started crying it was so magical I Love Disney I was so stressed with school and insecurity’s and bad thoughts in my mind about myself Then we did a week long trip to Disney I was with my older sister I couldn’t hold it in I started balling my eyes out becuase the only thing going through my mind was this is what I did it
I wish we would've seen Walt, mickey, some sound clips from the park opening and such. The 50th anniversary is lasting for 18 months so it's not like they'd need to change it again right away.
Agreed. This was a giant disappointment for our family last week. We were there 5 days and only watched it once which was more than enough. I could watch Happily Ever After every day and still cry. BRING IT BACK DISNEY!
I went to Walt Disney world two times and whenever I head a these songs: "the magic is calling" or any of the songs from WDW I start to ball my eyes out.😭😭

It was ok but I can see Happily Ever After coming back after the 50th stuff is over, Harmonious will be gone within the year, that’s an embarrassment, There’s no reason that should be in Epcot

You did a great job capturing the best part of the show: the castle projections! Because the fireworks were lackluster and the lighting was cool but the music just does nothing for me. I don’t understand using covers of Disney songs when disney literally owns the rights to the originals and it would sound 10x better. I can’t imagine how early in advance you had to get your spot, thank you for fighting the crowds to show us the show!
When it comes to the songs I was thinking the same thing! HEA was original and was just amazing…great vocals and it just screamed “Disney”. This almost seems like Disney knocking off Disney

That was frankly embarrassing. Disney put a minimal amount of effort into this. I would bet everything I have this show cost less than Happily Ever After.
Remember pyro didn't start in HEA until nearly 2 1/2 minutes. This left me thinking "Really. How long can they drag this out?" I like Enchantment. It has a story. It's less choppy than HEA and Harmonious. It has more pyro and better darker lighting. I'm a musician and had no problem with the music. I actually see quite a strong theme between the selections.
I am standing up and clapping for you. Absolutely!! These shows leave a lot on the table left undone. Not impressed with either show. Needs better music and better flow in both.
What?? Saw this in person a few days ago, sitting at Casey's Corner, and it was incredible. The projections on Main Street were also amazing. This comment section is not passing the vibe check...
I watched in person several times and I felt it was the best fireworks MK ever did. The new shows are a bit polarizing (for instance I loathe Harmonious). You have to go in person to decide for yourself. Don't go by the general public. Both nights I attended the crowd had tears in their eyes. Clearly Enchantment had a purpose and story for the general audience. I even teared up. I did not shed a single tear in HEA or Harmonious. Illuminations was the only show I ever teared up during, so from me, that's a pretty big compliment to the new show.
Yes, you can argue the show needed more classics (I argue that myself), but the show is new and a change for MK. The shows should change and reflect the times. Enchantment reflects the time pretty well. When nearly 1/4 Floridians report clinical depression, the show was clearly focused on resolving problems within, and not relying on others to discover who you are. For me, that's a good message. It's about the best Disney ever did.
Thanks 4K for taking us with you to see the new show, it seemed the new show is very heavy on IP material from Disney movies. Definitely seems to be less intense with fireworks, but sometimes less is more. Digital projections now seem to be the new norm, imagine it is cheaper to manage and setup. I like it and once again, brilliant job filming it.
I hate to break it to you, but literally every fireworks show (including HEA and Wishes) has been "very heavy on IPs" because that's literally the entire point of the whole park lmfao,
This view was at least much better tan what we've seen so far. I should let it grow on me but I wouldn't mind HEA making a return engagement after a year or so.
So happy with this angle. It's probably due to the quite poorly placed animations themselves but it's so hard to actually see them well in other videos. Even this close to the castle I have to wonder sometimes what I'm seeing. Very odd show. Compared to HEA or the newer creation Shanghai Disneyland's Illuminate this is just... so unexciting. Sad. But great video ;-)
I think they should have stuck with HEA for the 50th birthday celebrations, what is this? it's all disjointed, no story, no emotion to it...sorry I'm not keen, give me HEA any day over this....what a disappointment.
I hear ya. HEA was only 4 yrs old & basically a 9/10 for guests! No-one was yelping to get rid of it. This rescheme likes to demolish thigs people care about & put their stamp on whatever it becomes-good or bad
@@Liz.R Yep, I agree, it's such a shame they have got rid of such an amazingly popular and flawless nighttime show and replaced it with this disappointment, it doesn't make any sense to me as to why they would do this, whoever decided to scrap HEA for this abomination clearly has the intelligence of a crayon.
I went to Epcot’s 30th anniversary and at the end of Illuminations they had a special 30th Anniversary fireworks tribute including the song Tomorrow’s Child. This was 2012. It was awesome

Great video work 4K!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us. Just like the other replies I read, it didn’t give me any bit of excitement or warm feeling during the presentation. I’m an old guy and like the traditional Disney music. I think American Idol and other singing contests that encourage making the song your own is leaking into the Disney entertainment team. I haven’t watched Harmonious yet but I saw a comment that it’s not that great either. At one part of the song it said about leaving there with the magic. And immediately my thought was it should say, leaving there broke $$…haha…😂
I kept wondering if this was playing in slow motion. Not, just kinda slow. Happily Ever After was good but I miss Wishes. What I’d personally love is a fireworks display focused on the park. A section for each land would make me happy. Tiki/Mansion/Space/western with attraction music. I feel like Disneyland is better at that type of thing.
Remember... Dreams Come True is the show that focused on Disneyland experiences. One of my favorite shows. Used pieces of Wishes as well! It sucks because WDW is the international destination, they're always going to focus on IP while Disneyland is able to focus more on local interests. Here's to hoping they come to a good middle ground in the future.
The video is great. The show has zero feeling except for Moana and frozen, other then that the singers have no feeling and sound flat. The singers are talented but they should have stuck with original singers . I believe that would have saved some of it. Second they jumped around to much in the movies they showed making it feel rushed and lacking feeling. Just watched happily ever after again with the family after watching this and got all chocked up . Im a construction worker that considers myself a tough guy I don't get choked up.🙂
In my opinion the projections looks better than ever, the castle is pretty awesome during the whole show. But of course the whole experience is not even a piece of HAE was. People need to remember it's probably a temporary show to celebrate the 50th. It could be better? Of course. But they don't need to make nothing like HAE because HAE is HAE and period. Most people had the oportunity to enjoy HAE and it's good to move on. Hope they create a more emotional and deep nightshow after all the celebrations. For now, let's stop complaining (because it won't change a thing) and enjoy the colors and the beauty of Enchantment :)
Please clarify, HEA needed to be changed because "most people had the opportunity to enjoy it"? Are you a passholder & have seen so many times you are sick of it? Most families must save up for a romp to Florida & going may occur every other year, if not a longer time frame. Revisiting it again for children to grow up with might have been a good memory to bring them back in life. Change happens when growth occurs and newness is needed. Guests weren't clamoring for change, management wanted to make it their own. I don't think they intended to make this temporary. They had an opportunity to create a more emotional show & many feel they dropped the ball. It's not memorable as you walk down MS towards transportation. That's where it fails for many. As for the projections, even with this video taken literally at the front steps of the castle, IMHO, I still have issues making out some of it and yes, I have 20/20 vision. People should express their opinion, you like it, fine. I have to get use to this show, but I don't have to stand there and enjoy it. I ,too, can change. Enjoy your day.
@@Liz.R Ok, I understand your point and agree with you. Just to clarify.... I'm not even from US, and I went to MK only 2 times (2008 and 2015). For me it's SO expensive visiting Orlando that I never had the oportunity to experience HAE being there. I'm planning a trip to US this year and I was really excited to see HAE for the first time. When they announced a new nightshow, I got excited for this because I tought it would be an epic 50th projection and got frustrated with Enchantment as everyone did. But at the same time, I know it will be an awesome experience anyway. In 2008 there wasn't projections on the castle and I left MK amazed. In my opinion, If they weren't planning a temporary show, now I'm sure they won't let this stay for years like Wishes and HAE did. And just to clarify, I'm not on their side! I'm sad as you all haha. But honestly, what can we do? We all have to get used to Enchantment and wait a new nightshow after it ends. What can't happen is keeping the same show forever just because people can't afford visiting Disney every year (unfortunately it's my case hahahhaha). That's what I meant by saying "Most people had the oportunity to enjoy HAE and it's good to move on". Keep in mind we are watching a huge castle projection on a computer/smartphone screen. It's completely smaller. Maybe that's why it's hard making out some of the characters. I feel the same when I watch HAE here on youtube. But ~for me~ the colors and the whole visual of the castle is better now than before. It's more vivid, it's more colorful. It's really impressive to watch. Hope later in the future they bring back HEA for a while so I have the oportunity to see it in person. But for now, I'm excited to be there and enjoy Enchantment at the end of my day and won't let the "frustrated hype" ruins my plans. So that's it hahaha Making lemonade with the lemons :P
4K…thank you for this…I am catching up on vlogs after kind of a tough week last week (lots of extra hours) …and after seeing the livestream, and a couple other vloggers I follow; seeing yours, I finally “get it!” Your video of “Enchantment” is the one that finally moved me to “the feels.” No, it is not “Happily Ever After” but ultimately has a similar message…and I’m finding I love it too (I still like HEA more as I saw it live as I “awakened” as a Disney-Adult, but there is a lot to more love in this than many are giving credit!)
It’s my pleasure Rick! I agree. I also like Happily Ever After more, but this is still a very nice show in my opinion. I think many people are also disappointed with it because it has absolutely nothing to do with the 50th anniversary of WDW, which I can agree with that too. I read some guests online said that Disney should have just added a 50th anniversary tag to the end of HEA. I think that would have been a better move instead of ending a really popular show so soon. A completely new fireworks show just 4 years after the debut of HEA was a questionable move to me. Thanks for watching as always Rick!
Same though like people were going harsh in the comments about it like it is not a bad show at all like I like the songs that they are doing and the projections and animation is good it is just it is hard to see HEA go but it was it's time and we have to remember that and like this show is really good like it might not be HEA level but it is still good for what the comments have put because all I have really seen were hate comments on it
I just was there and saw this last night and now I’m waking up just to hear “you are the magic” again. THAT SONG IS SO FLIPPING GOOD! Great job capturing the show! Edit: The line you have traveled from so far really got me because I’m from CA and it’s been 9 years since I’ve been to Disney World. I’m currently 13 so that means the last time when I was there I was 4 years old!
i honestly like the new show. it isn’t better then happily ever after bc nothing will ever beat it but it was still a great show of teaching u to love who you are for u being u cause ur you for a reason.
they should’ve just added a 50th tag to the end of HEA :( this doesn’t celebrate the 50th anniversary at all and not a single reference to walt, mickey or even roy! however your video quality is beautiful though!
I didn’t think that there was anything that could make me cry. OMG!!! Tears are just streaming. I am in awe of the beauty. Christmas last year was a dream come true. The Castle was magnificent. What I just saw is something out of a fairytale. I feel like a great big child right now anticipating our trip. Thinking that I should change the dates. I JUST CAN’T WAIT!!! I just got back from visiting the parks, and when I saw this show myself during the "You Can Fly" sequence I saw something that made me do a double take. I had to come here to confirm that I did indeed seen my favorite boi Jim Hawkins fly across that castle for just a split second.
I never got to see HEA in person like i had dreamed of but i just saw this a few days ago.. HEA hits me on an emotional level that no show has ever done. It screams everything Disney. The projections on the castle are soooo much better than this one. I do have to give credit to Enchantment though, it did make me tear up a bit and it was a good show. The fireworks themselves i liked better than HEA. Overall it is a good show but I wish they’d bring back HEA:(
🏰4, Great call on position! I honestly had a hard time seeing the projections on Disney Live Stream, so this is helpful. These are more muddled than HEA. Nice to end the night with fireworks! At some point you need to tell us if in person viewing helps liking them - some luv them, so maybe there's something wrong with my vantage point.
The projections did look pretty cool in person, and honestly so did the fireworks. But the show itself just kind of felt like a montage of animated Disney films with no message really
I’ve seen a lot of angry posts from the folk that go to Disney regularly about how one year or another was better. I went for the first time this year with 3 buddies of mine. Want to know what? It was a great goddamn show. It’s okay to have critiques from one year to the next but watch your damn language. Some folk have spent their childhood and adult lives working and finally earning their keep go be there. I did. And you know what? It was a good show. My critique of this video is that I would have place the camera higher and further back because the projections on the walls of Main Street USA (where I was standing) also added a ton to the ambiance of the finale.
For context, I grew up in an exceptionally poor household. There were two years of my teen years where it was just my dad and I living in a van. Life was so damn hard and I was never envious about what others had but I had goals to one day experience certain things. Disney World was one of them. I served in the army (Iraq and Afghan) to afford school, I worked my ass off in school to get a good job and worked hard to get the money to afford to go (and still take care of me and my family). I’m 35 years old and even still…it was exactly what I imagined it to be. Just be aware, some of you are taking giant dumps on something that took other people a lifetime to earn the right to attend. You absolutely have your right to your opinion, but please have some respect.
Great video feed love your video recording!! In regards to this firework presentation, it was truly a sorrowing display. We did not feel the “emotional connection” in this and it was true letdown. I have a feeling a lot of Disney park visitors will be spending the majority of time in the rides and food stands. This show could have made a big impact and should have been twice as better as the previous show. Unfortunately it wasn’t what a huge disappointment :/
All I can say is I'm glad Happily Ever After is coming back after the D23 announcement! Wishes had a storyline, Happily Ever After had a storyline, this one is just a random montage...

@@mindianaj0nes No problem! I totally get it since I was the same way! I think they try to make it subtle - but it doesn't always work, haha. I didn't even notice it for HEA until I listened to the soundtrack in my car once.
I don't know why a good bit of y'all are hating on it because I just watched the whole thing and it was pretty good like yes happily ever after will still be in my heart and be my favorite but I read some of the comments before I watched and honestly it is better than what some of these other comments were saying like I honestly like it even if it is replacing HEA show we will get over it eventually and learn to love this one if you don't already like it
The singer’s voices are like nails on a chalkboard. I love Princess and the frog but i can’t stand the music from it. And they keep shoving Merida down our throats and people couldn’t care less about that princess. Also that ending needed 2 or 3 bars holding the last note and a some more big fireworks and this could have been salvaged. Whoever put this together has no concept of buildup or storytelling or has probably never seen a Disney film.

The transition to "Into the Unknown" gives me chills, it's my favorite part of the show, the whole section is. I'm glad they chose that song.

Not on the level of the past for sure. Are the projections interesting? Sure. One the epic level? Not even close. Maybe with better epic style music. This is not.
I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but happily ever after was a random montage too. Wishes, Fantasmic, Illuminations, or even Fantasy in the Sky was way better in my humble opinion. The fireworks change constantly at MK. That's the good thing. If you don't like the show, change the season you visit. I actually prefer this show to HEA, as it was more realistic in tone, but to each their own. I feel like the music needs a bit of work at times though. I've also been working in person through the pandemic, and the message resonates with me. You need to appreciate who you have in your life while they're here.
Great disrespect to Walt and Mickey....THEY are the reason behind the Disney magic....Not your movie's....they had a huge opportunity to show what Disney is all about, and they chose to show their true colors, money....lame ass Genie pass, should have called it the Mickey pass...at least make the holder feel like your holding something special...sorry folks, the powers that be just killed the magic.

Agreed. This was a giant disappointment for our family last week. We were there 5 days and only watched it once which was more than enough. I could watch Happily Ever After every day and still cry. BRING IT BACK DISNEY!

You did a great job capturing the best part of the show: the castle projections! Because the fireworks were lackluster and the lighting was cool but the music just does nothing for me. I don’t understand using covers of Disney songs when disney literally owns the rights to the originals and it would sound 10x better.

Not really. There's actually more pyro in this and better lighting than HEA.
Remember pyro didn't start in HEA until nearly 2 1/2 minutes. This left me thinking "Really. How long can they drag this out?"
I like Enchantment. It has a story. It's less choppy than HEA and Harmonious. It has more pyro and better darker lighting. I'm a musician and had no problem with the music. I actually see quite a strong theme between the selections.

I watched in person several times and I felt it was the best fireworks MK ever did. The new shows are a bit polarizing (for instance I loathe Harmonious). You have to go in person to decide for yourself. Don't go by the general public. Both nights I attended the crowd had tears in their eyes. Clearly Enchantment had a purpose and story for the general audience. I even teared up. I did not shed a single tear in HEA or Harmonious. Illuminations was the only show I ever teared up during, so from me, that's a pretty big compliment to the new show.
Yes, you can argue the show needed more classics (I argue that myself), but the show is new and a change for MK. The shows should change and reflect the times. Enchantment reflects the time pretty well. When nearly 1/4 Floridians report clinical depression, the show was clearly focused on resolving problems within, and not relying on others to discover who you are. For me, that's a good message. It's about the best Disney ever did.

Thanks 4K for taking us with you to see the new show, it seemed the new show is very heavy on IP material from Disney movies. Definitely seems to be less intense with fireworks, but sometimes less is more. Digital projections now seem to be the new norm, imagine it is cheaper to manage and setup. I like it and once again, brilliant job filming it.
I hate to break it to you, but literally every fireworks show (including HEA and Wishes) has been "very heavy on IPs" because that's literally the entire point of the whole park lmfao,

So happy with this angle. It's probably due to the quite poorly placed animations themselves but it's so hard to actually see them well in other videos. Even this close to the castle I have to wonder sometimes what I'm seeing. Very odd show. Compared to HEA or the newer creation Shanghai Disneyland's Illuminate this is just... so unexciting. Sad. But great video ;-)

I hear ya. HEA was only 4 yrs old & basically a 9/10 for guests! No-one was yelping to get rid of it. This rescheme likes to demolish thigs people care about & put their stamp on whatever it becomes-good or bad

I went to Epcot’s 30th anniversary and at the end of Illuminations they had a special 30th Anniversary fireworks tribute including the song Tomorrow’s Child. This was 2012. It was awesome

I’m an old guy and like the traditional Disney music. I think American Idol and other singing contests that encourage making the song your own is leaking into the Disney entertainment team. I haven’t watched Harmonious yet but I saw a comment that it’s not that great either. At one part of the song it said about leaving there with the magic. And immediately my thought was it should say, leaving there broke $$…haha…😂

Fantastic fireworks show. Happily Ever After has my heart but I love Enchantment more than I expected.
I kept wondering if this was playing in slow motion. Not, just kinda slow. Happily Ever After was good but I miss Wishes. What I’d personally love is a fireworks display focused on the park. A section for each land would make me happy. Tiki/Mansion/Space/western with attraction music. I feel like Disneyland is better at that type of thing.

Remember... Dreams Come True is the show that focused on Disneyland experiences. One of my favorite shows. Used pieces of Wishes as well! It sucks because WDW is the international destination, they're always going to focus on IP while Disneyland is able to focus more on local interests. Here's to hoping they come to a good middle ground in the future.

The video is great. The show has zero feeling except for Moana and frozen, other then that the singers have no feeling and sound flat. The singers are talented but they should have stuck with original singers . I believe that would have saved some of it. Second they jumped around to much in the movies they showed making it feel rushed and lacking feeling.
Just watched happily ever after again with the family after watching this and got all chocked up . Im a construction worker that considers myself a tough guy I don't get choked up.🙂

In my opinion the projections looks better than ever, the castle is pretty awesome during the whole show. But of course the whole experience is not even a piece of HAE was. People need to remember it's probably a temporary show to celebrate the 50th. It could be better? Of course. But they don't need to make nothing like HAE because HAE is HAE and period. Most people had the oportunity to enjoy HAE and it's good to move on. Hope they create a more emotional and deep nightshow after all the celebrations. For now, let's stop complaining (because it won't change a thing) and enjoy the colors and the beauty of Enchantment :)
Please clarify, HEA needed to be changed because "most people had the opportunity to enjoy it"? Are you a passholder & have seen so many times you are sick of it? Most families must save up for a romp to Florida & going may occur every other year, if not a longer time frame. Revisiting it again for children to grow up with might have been a good memory to bring them back in life. Change happens when growth occurs and newness is needed. Guests weren't clamoring for change, management wanted to make it their own. I don't think they intended to make this temporary. They had an opportunity to create a more emotional show & many feel they dropped the ball. It's not memorable as you walk down MS towards transportation. That's where it fails for many. As for the projections, even with this video taken literally at the front steps of the castle, IMHO, I still have issues making out some of it and yes, I have 20/20 vision. People should express their opinion, you like it, fine. I have to get use to this show, but I don't have to stand there and enjoy it. I ,too, can change. Enjoy your day.
@@Liz.R Ok, I understand your point and agree with you. Just to clarify.... I'm not even from US, and I went to MK only 2 times (2008 and 2015). For me it's SO expensive visiting Orlando that I never had the oportunity to experience HAE being there. I'm planning a trip to US this year and I was really excited to see HAE for the first time. When they announced a new nightshow, I got excited for this because I tought it would be an epic 50th projection and got frustrated with Enchantment as everyone did. But at the same time, I know it will be an awesome experience anyway. In 2008 there wasn't projections on the castle and I left MK amazed. In my opinion, If they weren't planning a temporary show, now I'm sure they won't let this stay for years like Wishes and HAE did. And just to clarify, I'm not on their side! I'm sad as you all haha. But honestly, what can we do? We all have to get used to Enchantment and wait a new nightshow after it ends. What can't happen is keeping the same show forever just because people can't afford visiting Disney every year (unfortunately it's my case hahahhaha). That's what I meant by saying "Most people had the oportunity to enjoy HAE and it's good to move on".
Keep in mind we are watching a huge castle projection on a computer/smartphone screen. It's completely smaller. Maybe that's why it's hard making out some of the characters. I feel the same when I watch HAE here on youtube. But ~for me~ the colors and the whole visual of the castle is better now than before. It's more vivid, it's more colorful. It's really impressive to watch. Hope later in the future they bring back HEA for a while so I have the oportunity to see it in person. But for now, I'm excited to be there and enjoy Enchantment at the end of my day and won't let the "frustrated hype" ruins my plans. So that's it hahaha Making lemonade with the lemons :P
4K…thank you for this…I am catching up on vlogs after kind of a tough week last week (lots of extra hours) …and after seeing the livestream, and a couple other vloggers I follow; seeing yours, I finally “get it!” Your video of “Enchantment” is the one that finally moved me to “the feels.” No, it is not “Happily Ever After” but ultimately has a similar message…and I’m finding I love it too (I still like HEA more as I saw it live as I “awakened” as a Disney-Adult, but there is a lot to more love in this than many are giving credit!)

I think many people are also disappointed with it because it has absolutely nothing to do with the 50th anniversary of WDW, which I can agree with that too. I read some guests online said that Disney should have just added a 50th anniversary tag to the end of HEA. I think that would have been a better move instead of ending a really popular show so soon. A completely new fireworks show just 4 years after the debut of HEA was a questionable move to me. Thanks for watching as always Rick!
Same though like people were going harsh in the comments about it like it is not a bad show at all like I like the songs that they are doing and the projections and animation is good it is just it is hard to see HEA go but it was it's time and we have to remember that and like this show is really good like it might not be HEA level but it is still good for what the comments have put because all I have really seen were hate comments on it

Edit: The line you have traveled from so far really got me because I’m from CA and it’s been 9 years since I’ve been to Disney World. I’m currently 13 so that means the last time when I was there I was 4 years old!

I missed the fireworks because of a 2 hour wait at jungle cruise so it’s nice to see the whole show.
I didn’t think that there was anything that could make me cry. OMG!!! Tears are just streaming. I am in awe of the beauty. Christmas last year was a dream come true. The Castle was magnificent. What I just saw is something out of a fairytale. I feel like a great big child right now anticipating our trip. Thinking that I should change the dates. I JUST CAN’T WAIT!!! I just got back from visiting the parks, and when I saw this show myself during the "You Can Fly" sequence I saw something that made me do a double take. I had to come here to confirm that I did indeed seen my favorite boi Jim Hawkins fly across that castle for just a split second.

HEA hits me on an emotional level that no show has ever done. It screams everything Disney. The projections on the castle are soooo much better than this one.

At some point you need to tell us if in person viewing helps liking them - some luv them, so maybe there's something wrong with my vantage point.

I’ve seen a lot of angry posts from the folk that go to Disney regularly about how one year or another was better. I went for the first time this year with 3 buddies of mine. Want to know what? It was a great goddamn show.
It’s okay to have critiques from one year to the next but watch your damn language. Some folk have spent their childhood and adult lives working and finally earning their keep go be there.

My critique of this video is that I would have place the camera higher and further back because the projections on the walls of Main Street USA (where I was standing) also added a ton to the ambiance of the finale.
For context, I grew up in an exceptionally poor household. There were two years of my teen years where it was just my dad and I living in a van. Life was so damn hard and I was never envious about what others had but I had goals to one day experience certain things. Disney World was one of them.
I served in the army (Iraq and Afghan) to afford school, I worked my ass off in school to get a good job and worked hard to get the money to afford to go (and still take care of me and my family).
I’m 35 years old and even still…it was exactly what I imagined it to be.
Just be aware, some of you are taking giant dumps on something that took other people a lifetime to earn the right to attend.
You absolutely have your right to your opinion, but please have some respect.

Great video feed love your video recording!! In regards to this firework presentation, it was truly a sorrowing display. We did not feel the “emotional connection” in this and it was true letdown. I have a feeling a lot of Disney park visitors will be spending the majority of time in the rides and food stands. This show could have made a big impact and should have been twice as better as the previous show. Unfortunately it wasn’t what a huge disappointment :/

The singer’s voices are like nails on a chalkboard. I love Princess and the frog but i can’t stand the music from it. And they keep shoving Merida down our throats and people couldn’t care less about that princess. Also that ending needed 2 or 3 bars holding the last note and a some more big fireworks and this could have been salvaged. Whoever put this together has no concept of buildup or storytelling or has probably never seen a Disney film.
