I used to be confused between dr. Strange and Constantine, but once I saw him exorcise 3 demons with a single cigarette, i knew he is John Constantine...
Well if they do want to stick to his true dark powers then they should make an animated series of him. Like Spawn, with everything that we expect to see.
It truly broke my heart to pieces when I heard Constantine was canceled. The show felt like a golden opportunity to dive into the magical beings of the DC universe. :( Really was hyped when I heard the Spectre was in the show because I was certain we were going to see his spirit form. Whatever the case, Matt Ryan nailed the role in every possible way and I always hear his voice when I read a comic with Constantine in it. Really hope he continues to play the character in future DC tv shows
He's out for himself. And he likes for the world he lives in to keep spinning, even if everyone else is on it. Win-win. Oh, and the redemption thing, too.
keanu could reprise his role at any time if DC decided to add him to any of their films - keep that in mind and i personally would love to see keanu play him once again.
I was collecting swamp thing when Constantine was introduced. I recognized sting immediately, from there movie "brimstone and treacle". glad to see an honest effort to get the character right.
The thing about the Constantine movie, while I actually enjoy it as a film, it doesn't really have a right to the source material. The tone, character, and all that, weren't comparatively faithful, and I think that the movie would've fared much better if it wasn't Constantine.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! I have the dvd for constantine 2 the animated movie it was really good. So i decided to look more deeper into it on the DC side of thing. +Gabriel Mendez Yeah, the Doctor is like "I'm an angel, but I want to learn how to be human" And Constantine is more "I'm drunk, so piss of you angel... demon, whatever the hell you are."
Gabriel Mendez Well, he is a little like him. They both want to save everybody but are unable to, they both had to make personal sacrifice to save the day, and often they had to sacrifice others (cue to the Tenth who outright admit manipulating people into dying for him). The main difference is that Constantine is a hardcore believer in the self determination of the humans, while the Doctor "Heal" whatever he comes across, effectively intervening in other's affairs. Also, Constantine makes no apology for his action, and shows how it ruins him physically and mentally, while the Doctor usually hides it behind a childish attitude.
I really liked the Keanu Reeves movie. its a dark neo noir story with demons and not too outlandish as the comics(I love the comic series tho). They even referred to Keanu's version as an alternate universe Constantine who's life has gone a more darker and twisted turn.
"What's in that trenchcoat?"

What they need is to either make the TV show re-appear on netflix with all the cast that can come back OR make a movie with the cast, cause good god that was an awesome show.
#SaveContantine
I used to be confused between dr. Strange and Constantine, but once I saw him exorcise 3 demons with a single cigarette, i knew he is John Constantine...
Well if they do want to stick to his true dark powers then they should make an animated series of him. Like Spawn, with everything that we expect to see.
Jesus Salazar The CW is making an animated seriez .
Jesus Salazar Congrats. THEY DID NOW.
I love Constantine. Wish the show wasn't cancelled. 😩
“What’s in that trench coat?”
“I am!”
Damn it... really John?
It truly broke my heart to pieces when I heard Constantine was canceled. The show felt like a golden opportunity to dive into the magical beings of the DC universe. :( Really was hyped when I heard the Spectre was in the show because I was certain we were going to see his spirit form. Whatever the case, Matt Ryan nailed the role in every possible way and I always hear his voice when I read a comic with Constantine in it. Really hope he continues to play the character in future DC tv shows
I am not sure whether call him hero. Sometimes it's even hard to call him anti-hero. For me neutral matches him better
He's out for himself. And he likes for the world he lives in to keep spinning, even if everyone else is on it. Win-win.
Oh, and the redemption thing, too.
Loc K neutrality is the right way
Dan Stevens would Rock for the Role Of John Constantine for the DCEU/Snyderverse
Keanu Reeves interpretation of Constantine was honestly my favourite.
The amount of anger that seeped from me, along with despair, when then 'Newest' Constantine was cancelled-. I can't explain it to you-.
keanu could reprise his role at any time if DC decided to add him to any of their films - keep that in mind and i personally would love to see keanu play him once again.
me too - too bad everyone else hated him
Why do Keanu when Matt Ryan was so much better?
+Michael Bradley zero percent chance of happening
v_v dude ... lmao - but yeah, besides, keanu is focusing on other roles, i can't wait to see John Wick 2!
Michael Bradley thats the role he was born to play and he dont even need a stunt man
"Mucus membrane?" I love it!
This video needs 100% more Keanu.
All videos need 100% more Keanu...
Bollocks old son.
reeves sucked in the movie just like he does in most movies
No it probably needs 10% of Keanu. Sorry my heart goes out for Matt Ryan playing Constantine!
Nice overview of John Constantine
i wish theyd bring back constantine:(
I was collecting swamp thing when Constantine was introduced.
In my youngest of days i was an aid comic book reader. Looking forward to more videos Didnt know there was a series i wonder on what channel though but it look like it was actually a great show it shouldnt have been cancelled. We need a reboot I first saw the keanu reeves constantine in the theaters when it first came out me and my cousin I think he did a good job, of course he didnt have the UK accent and tan trenchcoat but wasnt a bad performance I have to stick up for my fellow virgoan bro *shrugs Keep the vidoes coming
I want a new hellblazer movie Keanu reeves as Constantine
Damian cruz FUCK NO
Damian cruz HELL YEAH! Bring him into the DCEU
SOD THAT!
John Constantine is my favorite Vertigo comic book character & the Hellblazer series is absolutely awesome.
Constantine shall return in "Justice League Dark" in January/February 2017.
wolfguy23 oh yeah?
Watched it n he was Awesome
best youtube narrator voice on youtube on planet earth on youtube
My second favorite DC character. Swamp Thing is number one.
The most British guy in DC.
i am afraid that giving this video a thumbs up might be seen as me "reacting" to it and then the swine brothers will sue me :(
LMFAO
+Jiggle Diggle Too late. You posting a coment on a video counts as a reaction. Sorry mate.
What happent with the Fine Bros, can someone tell me?
Search "React World" on youtube.
+Afonso Lucas They attempted to trademark the word react. Yup
i JUST started the series and loved every moment and now i find out it was cut short? bullocks!
Does this guy remind anyone else of The Doctor?
Lol a little bit but he's the total opposite of the Doctor.
+Gabriel Mendez Yeah, the Doctor is like "I'm an angel, but I want to learn how to be human"
And Constantine is more "I'm drunk, so piss of you angel... demon, whatever the hell you are."
laz kar character wise, john id nothing like the doctor.
Yeah he does... More like an Anti-Doctor Who
Love this and Matt Ryan is spot on!
I really liked the Keanu Reeves movie. its a dark neo noir story with demons and not too outlandish as the comics(I love the comic series tho). They even referred to Keanu's version as an alternate universe Constantine who's life has gone a more darker and twisted turn.
they really need to continue the show
Matt Ryan nails the part of Constantine. Keanu Reeves was a mistake.
+Mous Lim no
+Remy "Gambit" LeBeau I loved Matt Ryan as Constantine. Miss watching the show.
Agreed 100%
Looks more like him too
+Remy "Gambit" LeBeau Keanu wasn't that bad. Matt's better though.
THANK YOU MOJO!!!! I was really hopin somone would do this.
He ask if I’m a fan of Hellblazer
I miss that tv show so much. Matt Ryan made such good Constantine. At least it gave us that another hellblazer comic reboot
