I always wondered what that pipe on the side of the DE4 was for...
And there goes the days of fast manual servicing...
The resource transfer is actually quicker now and placing the hose doesn't really take much time.

Altfuture another idea came to me that should not require a lot of reverse engineering or coding. Can you try to implement oil burning variants of the SH282 and S060 so that they utilize the refueling hose?
At some point in the future maybe. Currently that's out of scope.
@@altfuture Understood. Keep up those updates. I'm not only smelling smoke, soot and steam to name a few(strictly speaking), but I'm also drooling with excitement already. Take your time, I'll be waiting for the moment Simulator is released.
Also, when will you post shorts on new locomotives with the new systems? I'm keen on getting a glimpse of what's to come.
@@cjstrader8171 The new locos will be showcased in a few months, closer to the release. We're leaving the best for the end.

You're given money in the tutorial
That makes so much more sense than parking in an arbitrary marked spot in the shed. Does this mean one can refuel in a shed road adjacent to the service spot as long as they're within range of the hose?
The loco must still be in the range (at the proper spot). However it is possible to service multiple-locomotives if they are coupled without needing to bring them all individually. This will be shown in a future video.
